Are these cards really going to have Samsung or Hynix memory ?

Better core clock than previously thought if this is real?

Not that surprising considering Maxwell clocks a lot better than Kepler and stays cooler thanks to the increased efficiency. Let's hope those boost clocks are right correct because that's quite an improvement over the original Titans abilities.

Having doubts about moving to Titan X already, I think if I do I might get buyers remorse (Purely because of price).

Aaaaargh do I don't I?

Do I really want to spend this much on single GPU?!

980 Ti / 390X in next few months??

Really don't want to get buyers remorse lol..

The more I see of the 390x the more I am happy that I'm not in the queue to buy Titan X.

I actually needed Titans when I got mine so the choice was easier but if it were nothing but gaming? I'd have regretted it. Especially when you consider than the 290 could push the Titan yet cost a whole lot less.

I suppose at least you'd get back a chunk should you decide to sell it/them. Far more than any AMD card.

If it's solely based on gaming muscle though I guess I would wait. Pick up a cheap 290/x and wait. Buying Titan X solely for gaming means you need to have big pockets and will inevitably lose out when the next best gaming GPU arrives.

How can you see more of nothing? :D

Titans so far have turned out to be a good investment for people who tend to buy GPU's every 2-3years and want to play games at a high quality and not worry about VRAM.

You'd lose out no matter what gpu you buy, it's the nature of the beast.

You will get it and you know it. You will be sitting there thinking I don't even game that much why have I an £800+ GPU...:D To the MM with it.

Yeah I'm thinking if I'm already having doubts over the price I should sit this one out. Maybe best to pick up something cheap to use until more new cards get released.

I wish Nvidia launched the 980 Ti first, and / or 390X was here as well. It makes the decision difficult without knowing how far these other cards are away lol. Right now I'm using a HD 5450 :p

I might even plum for a 960.. With Witcher 3 it makes the card about £110.. Not bad as a stop gap until we get the full lineup of new cards.. Then pick something up later on.. I would likely give the 960 to my bro after I'm done with it as well so wouldn't be a waste of money..

Hopefully Titan X reviews go live on Tuesday, see if it has the performance to warrant the price.. Let's be honest £800 is a fair chunk of money to spend on anything..

I'm guessing Boom just likes new things and then gets bored a day or two later and sells up? :p

Personally, I've just bought a second hand GTX 580 for £50, which will tide me over until if/when the 980TI hits.

:)

^^ This.

Especially when it's real expensive. I like trying the latest hardware have a play with it, then I'm like ok I'm done now lol. In the case of Titan X could lose a lot of money if 390X trades blows at half the price..

Anyway I'll leave it until Tuesday to decide.. It could be a real monster, if I knew it would be top card for a 6 months to a year the price would be ok. With 390X looming I'm not so sure that Titan will be worth the price this time around..

I'll help you out, you buy it full price then I'll have it when your remorse gets a grip on you :D
