which maxes out at 15% afaik and my rear was losing grip?! that is on p4es!![]()
If you're losing grip on a 15% climb your doing something very wrong.

Well.. climbing out of the saddle is for noobs anyhow![]()
I don't have issues with my rear losing grip but I try to do as much climbing seated as I can. Usually I have more problems with feeling like I'm going to fall over backwards (on very steep climbs at least).
I just can't climb in the saddle?! it just feels wrong? If you're losing grip on a 15% climb your doing something very wrong.

Very happy with this today! Incorporated todays commute with a long leisure route I did yesterday to see if I could set any PRs..
Safe to say I did better than yesterday!

If you like climbing this is a great Sportive. I did the mid distance a couple of years ago. Some brutal climbs! Tempted to do it again.

That looks really awesome. I'm quite tempted to sign up (and regret it later, no doubt)![]()
Done the Jubilee, Trough and Cross o Greet. Brilliant cycling round there.
OCUK road riders day out?
must be the mental quad power![]()

I was losing traction on a 15% the other day. Damp rough surface. Didn't cause any issues but I could feel it slip.

I was out of the saddle and taking it relatively steady (new PB but had plenty left in the tank) and it was slipping on every push.
When I am standing and powering up hills I have problems keeping the rear wheel on the ground - My pedal uplift stroke pulls it up.

Kop hill near me on the steepest section near the end when it's 18-19% I've pulled a few wheelies by mistake, but not lost traction so far.

anything like that worth doing around london?
