To be honest, im not sure 3mm will be enough for a wooden box wall thickness, unless its a hard/treated wood, you will need to get a sample block and experiment to see whats your happiest with and work from there.
Good luck with it though and hope to see your work soon :)

Just measured the internal height of my dual 1550p box, its 79mm high and i know from trying to test fit the stealthvapes battery sled i originaly bought, that it was a hair to long to fit straight in, so you would need an internal height of 80mm, external 83mm from the above details, but as i said, you can sand the sled and shave off about 3mm...

Hi all you vapers, Tried one of the new joytech Ego one's on Monday. Have to say it's very good indeed. Sufficed to say I now have one. :D Their idea of coffe though leaves something to be desired.

Not been into all the modding that goes on tbh. Have tried a few other types though. I'm normally quite happy with the kanger TS3's and the like.
But yea, was quite impressed with the ego one.

Anyone else got/tried one yet?

Currently using a Vamo v5 with an Aspire Nautilus, wondering if there is a 'better' combination for everyday vaping these days (In terms of how long the coil lasts etc etc).

Am also pondering making baby steps in to rebuildable territory with a Kanger subtank and a 40w box mod but haven't a scooby about how to rebuild/what I'd need to buy cotton/coil wise. Any suggestions/recommendations gratefully received!

I just ordered an MVP v3. I really like my current MVP but with a limit of 11W it's kind of useless with the subtank. I've got a couple of KBOXes but I love the MVP for it's portability and built in battery. Should be good with a maximum of 30W. Expensive though.

sorry I wasn't trying to apply that you brought a clone RDNA, I wonder how well they are going thou... that's why I asked.

Didn't think you were having a go, mate, just clarifying it's authentic. I own many clones. ;)

I can confirm after a month of using mine everyday with nickel and kanthal wire, it's works perfect.

Screen works like it supposed to (no glitches from the clone!) Have been really impressed with it.

(My own rDNA)

;)

Your screen is different to mine, older version?

Vape mail!

Drip tips from the drip tip store...

Good fit on my Subtanks and RDAs, little loose on the KFL, happy with the quality and will order from them again, especially like the stone one!

I also made another little stand out of some leftover oak kitchen worktop for batteries and drip tips...

Wow, the vape on this Plume Veil is amazing, utterly amazing.

Flavour like I have never had, gives very nice dense clouds.

Happy enough with it that I have resigned my TOBH for good I think!

Had a quick vape on one of these in my local B & M store I was impressed with it too perfect pocket sized device, nice vape from it too ;)

Cheers all

thought of the evening, I vape a lot when I'm sat at my computer my room looks like I have a fog machine half the time.

So I was thinking surely this can't be good for my PC I get a wet 'Tache from vaping so it must condense inside the PC

Anyone any thoughts on this?

In other news, put my first fast tech order few bits including 2 SMPL mods, one to custom paint see if I can get that awesome grey finish previously mentioned and one for a out and about mech

I'm 11 hours into my night shift on 3 hours sleep trying to stay awake

Yeah, the pc needs to be cleaned out once in a while, more if you vape around it. The fans will pickup any and all flumes in the air and settle in the case. Some designs are better that others.

I think I killed my egrip, I took it apart to look at the USB port as it wasn't easy to charge it. I cleaned the bottom of the case without the end on and removed some rubber/silicone thinking it was just dirt build up. I got the USB port working better, but now it's leaking from the air intake on the side/bottom of the device (not the RBA). It vapes a hell lot better, better than the RBA, but I'm going to get some clear silicone from Wilkos or modmaker to re-seal it back up.

EDIT: it might have hot glue rather than silicone, I can do with a hot glue gun.. Always had one at work so never needed one of my own.

Yub... Well it doesn't clog mine up, I'm a Mac user ;)
I don't tend to vape in front of my desktop (iMac), but I do vape in the living room with my laptop; well works' 11" MacBook air, and recently it's been getting louder and louder.. So I best clean it before hand it back.

People moan that smokers PCs are bad, but I think the vape is a lot heavier and sticky than smoke/tar.. Esp if you cloud chase with heavy VG, put it this way, I or anyone else could tell I was a smoker from smell alone, unless I just had one. When I walk into my apartment, I can smell Green crack in the bedroom and custard in the living room.. So the smell has to be coming from somewhere.

Err.... You do know what vapour is right?

If anything at all, you should be worried about the moisture in the air around the computer.

Here's a thread from uk vapes and here's one from ECF.

Not 100% of the juice gets vapourised, some will travel with the vape as tiny particles in the air. Granted it's not as thick as tar but heavy VG liquids there's a hell a lot more vape than smoke, and like smoke over time it will build up. not on areas like the heatsink where it's hot but on cooler areas like the fans, normally where the dust settles and get's mixed in.

On a brighter note, I've think fixed my egrip.. I took the atty base off (which I didn't do the second time round), took the bottom base off, gave it a good clean, messed around with the oring on both the air intake and atty base. Placed the base plate on first then the atty base, and it seems pretty much leak free at the moment, shame the air flow has gone back to normal too.
