Good PCP deal?

Seems expensive. Also are you sure you want a 1.4 automatic?? Auto fine, but 1.4!

I've got a vRS octavia estate. 15k mileage a year (use for business), under £300 a month with a £2k deposit. GFV - £11k. 0% APR and 3 years free servicing.

does 51mpg average, £30 a year road tax.

I only went for the 1.4 Petrol due to good economy. From my limited knowledge I understood that as I was doing less than 15,000 miles per year, I would not need a Diesel?

Can you confirm where you saw this deal please?

Spoken to a further 4 dealers directly today and so far, for the spec in post 1, No dealer can match it let alone beat it.

2nd cheapest offer I got was as follows -
£1500 deposit
£384 a month
£9400 final payment

Please note - This is for the Automatic 1.4 ELEGANCE with £1800-£2000 worth of extras.

Do you think it would be wise of me to stick to my first offer from drive the deal if no one can beat it or wait until April and risk the price increasing or staying the same?

If it has to be this car with that exact spec then get it from DtD

I think all people are saying is that there isn't a clear reason why it has to be that car with that spec, so there may be other better options that you haven't really explored.

If I was you I'd create an account on Pistonheads and ask the question under "General Gassing > Best Lease Deals".

Probably guys in there that spend hours a day looking for scorching hot cheap deals.

Everybody on here just drive m3s.

Octavia vRS estate 2.0 diesel

I didn't see it - that's the deal I have got and have been driving vRS for last 18 months.

I got a quote from Drive the deal as a starting point - went to 3 dealers, and hassled them until I got what I wanted.

To be exact - it was 0% APR, 3 years free servicing, 40 months PCP (3.5 years). 15k annual mileage.

£2k deposit - Retail cash price was £23,600, GFV is actually only £9500 (my apologies for incorrect information on previous post) - £298 to be exact monthly

Car included Black pack, Cruise control, GAP insurance and Pro pack as extras.

0% apr is good but list price for the estate 18 months ago was £23,790 wasn't it? I am surprised you couldn't have got more of list but i guess the amount they can knock off reduces with a 0% apr deal.

that's correct - it was just out in the August 2013 the new model. I know the salesman reasonably well and he said the margins are usually around 14% when taking it on normal APR and full list price, however, due to 0% apr deal , the margins were more like 6% so hardly any room to knock anything off.

Drive the deal would do around £3k off list price but NO 0% apr deal, so it's horses for course at the time.
