I cant see through the fighting. Is this game running fine on AMD cards?
Both DX and Mantle working well, though Mantle is miles ahead in smoothness.

Only playing on single 290x my frame rate is much higher using mantle than dx11..
There was a user.cfg command line I had to use in the beta to get FRAPS working. Without it the game refused to launch. I'll see about adding it later when back on the pc.If nvidia users are getting the dx error (swap chain), they need to roll back to another driver. 340.52 worked for me.
Fraps doesn't work with it, neither does FLAC calculator.

Oh dear
Dodgey drivers is my bet, maybe they are hoping to put Mantle back in and save it? who knows.

Nope, right where we should be and actually ahead/equal to the 980 if an 290X 8GB card is used. Expect more performance reviews to pop up shortly for this game.

It matters, to say that a high end GTX 970 / 290P can only manage 45 FPS average is a nonsense, that would be unplayable and it forces people to look at much more expensive solutions where in reality they don't need to.
I would like to know how they got to those results but unfortunately these days they never publish their methods so its impossible to verify them.
IMO Mainstream reviewers are no longer valid, they all have people with commercial interests pulling their strings.
And thats fine, but they should at least publish how they get to those results so that users can say "this is how they got to those results" if they are not (utterly fictitious for commercial purposes)
to get fraps to work type in (hit tilde key)
RenderDevice.PresentAsync 0
I'm not a mainstream reviewer and it's a hobby of sorts.
You want the frap logs for validation ?
That's the testing methodology and all settings are included so you can test against them.
