Nope, just clock the standard card.

I guess it's slightly less faffing to have SC Bios as you don' then need to use Afterburner.

People who've inspected the SC bios have said it is a bit different from the stock EVGA bios with power tables and what not, but you can just flash the standard one with the SC bios. Every Titan X can do those clocks.

I went for another brand but will probably just flash to a EVGA SC bios.

I think it invalidates the warranty. Now that I think of it, I will probably just OC.

Even if the card is dead, you can flash back the original BIOS. Just put it somewhere safe on your computer

I would go on the safer said to say some titan x will do those clocks.....once we get more data; it could be updated to to even good amount......but never all

It's a 127mhz overclock which on this new architecture (Maxwell) is nothing. Some are doing 1500mhz on air... I'd be extremely surprised if anyone here can't hold the SC clocks stable.

Got an MSI Motherboard so thought i would go for the MSI one no difference in the boards as for as i can see just the box it comes in

With stock bios and voltages people are doing anywhere from 1350-1520mhz (average is +250mhz-300mhz on the core)

It's a 127mhz overclock which on this new architecture is nothing. Some are doing 1500mhz on air... I'd be extremely surprised if anyone here can't hold the SC clocks stable.

One of the regulars at MLG (Menthol) got his Titan yesterday (standard EVGA) and hitting 1440Mhz on air with ease. Like the Titan and Titan Black, this all comes down to silicon luck with what clocks you can achieve.

It is done via the eeprom, so plug the card into the second slot and plug a working card into the main slot and flash like normal.
