is going for the EVGA SC worth the extra pennies ........ Guessing i can just clock the standard card ...... or am i missing something?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. People who've inspected the SC bios have said it is a bit different from the stock EVGA bios with power tables and what not, but you can just flash the standard one with the SC bios. Every Titan X can do those clocks.
Would that invalidate your warranty? Or can you just flash it back if you need to send it back.

I would go on the safer said to say some titan x will do those clocks.....once we get more data; it could be updated to to even good amount......but never all![]()
It's a 127mhz overclock which on this new architecture is nothing. Some are doing 1500mhz on air... I'd be extremely surprised if anyone here can't hold the SC clocks stable.
Even if the card is dead, you can flash back the original BIOS. Just put it somewhere safe on your computer![]()
How do you re-flash an old bios if the card is kapuut?
