Seeing the red Angry Bird again has reminded me of the U.S. soldier who was sent the soft toy red Angry Bird while serving in Afghanistan and discovered he could fit the standard issue frag grenade inside it.

I'll have to see if I can find the picture...
 
In before 'elmarko' says that it's not the kids' fault and the birds should be punished and the kids paid compensation!

Or tying a bit of string to a stick with a box (said box had a rock on it) with bread following into box. Then pulling the stick away to capture a bird. Que panic, when bird is going bat **** crazy and you have no other choice but to shout "MUM"

Couldn't have just been me?

Fireworks is a bit crazy though....
 
Animal welfare and China don't tend to go together especially well. Unless you're a panda, when everyone inexplicably loves you. Stupid pandas.
