I was right, the cane was holding me back, just got back to the first boss after restarting with cleaver and downed him without issues.

First boss isn't that hard once you become proficient with the cleaver. Same with the second boss. Just quite easy to get cornered with the second boss

I think its more of a play style thing, it might suit you, certainly wasn't mine kinda weapon

I finally cleared all the enemies around the burning wolf thing and now I don't want to go any further because I haven't got a new lantern but it's quite a distance from the last.
Suppose I need to challenge the guy banging on the door. Oh just went back to home and the doors are open now. Don't know what triggered that.

Had a good go at this today and I'm absolutely loving it so far. Had a couple of goes at Gascoigne and almost had him. Using the axe two handed at the moment which is how I played Demon's. Seems to be working out OK for me so far.

Also - PS4 resume function is working great.

Cool, how does suspend feature work with the online element or are you using offline mode in bloodborne

Each one gives +1 Insight.

Used to buy stuff from the Insight vendor in the Hunters Dream which unlocks when you have +10 insight and is used to buy the bells to raid and join other peoples worlds.

An update if anyone hasn't skipped over my obtaining a PS4 woes.

Finally got my hands on a PS4 packaged with Bloodborne that was supposed to be next day delivery, I've had all my emails through and the dispatch note says the delivery is on March 30th which is, Monday. I hope DPD will be the charitable sort and deliver it tomorrow anyway. Fingers crossed.

As if bloodborne wasn't a challenge enough I erm hmm smashed my car into the neighbour car as my mind was on how to beat the first boss . which is actually a damn good warning. Leave video games at home guys. Grrr thankfully no one hurt. But my pride is hurt and I'm £350 insurance excess worse off. Think I'll give this game a rest. Motivation sorta gone.. : -(
