Wow, this is 10x harder than Demon Souls and Elden Ring.

The play style is quite a bit different. Learn to counter/parry and it will get a lot easier.

its just different. Should tell you a lot when you get a shield in the game and its completely useless!
Blood-Starved Beast is the skill check (can you dodge, counter, hit, use items accordingly), so if you end up beating that you will be able to finish the game.

Making progress now I’ve turned the brightness up. OLED plus sunlight not a good combo.

I know there are different endings depending on what you do and in which order. Been a long time since I completed it.

Well as part of my go at getting achievements on the soulsbourne games. I've just platinumed this. (First platinum).

If you reject his offer you fight him.
Then there is a third ending.
