SPECTRE Bond24 discussion [Please use spoiler tags when discussing the plot]

Good trailer. Un-Bondish.

Skyfall was junk IMO so i hope this takes another route and its not just the teaser thats misdirecting.

He is a good Modern Bond.

Will watch of course because = Bond!

I thought the first 3/4 of Skyfall was brilliant, but then it turned into Home Alone for some reason.

Sorry to lower the tone, but it really does sound like Mr. White calls Bond a 'C word' dancing in a hurricane @1.03 :p ... obviously the word is 'kite', and its a nice line, but his accent did made me

I just watched this and thought the same thing and was going to post about it :D

Craig is my second favourite bond, after the woefully underrated Dalton, and I look forward to this.

Casino Royale was utterly brilliant, QOS wasn't very good and Skyfall was a complete and utter disappointment. Skyfall made no sense at all after Bond went to Shanghai. I am still waiting for anyone to explain to me what actually happened there.

It seems to me from the teaser they are again exploring bonds past which is OK but please do this while there is a real threat to the world, not a total cop out like Skyfall.

I really want this to be good but I don't think they will ever get back to how good Craig was in Casino Royale.

So much potential has been squandered in the last two films...

This trailer reminds me of what Bond should be like, as if they've gone back to their roots. Skyfall was OK but the previous Bonds have been, as described above, meh.

Really looking forward to this, lets hope its as good as it looks in the trailer.

:D

For me Craig is #1 by a huge margin... with 'maybe' Connery as #2. I watched OHMSS two nights ago, which touches on a lot of the SPECTRE themes, and I was really impressed by Lazenby's portrayal as Bond... I think if he'd been given more time he would have been a great Bond, and certainly better than Moore (and at least an equal to Dalton) ... Lazenby & Dalton both suffered the same thing, in being the right Bond at the wrong time.

I still like my Bond's with one liners and extra cheese, I like the Craig films (sort of) but they aren't Bond films for me.

I know I'm in the minority with this but meh :p

Each to their own... everyone takes away something different from the franchise... there is no right or wrong. I just enjoy the darker side, rather than the 'cheese' even if a bit of the ripe stuff goes down a treat now and then.
