Not contesting what you're saying, it's just for my aforementioned colleague and I don't want to give him duff research.

I'm going to get him started on;

- iStick 30W
- Beyond Silo lite
- 5x coils
- 12mg juice (he smokes 40 a week so figured this would see him right)

edit: ah ha! Seems specific to the lite version, I'll get him on the normal one! :-)

Yeah the silo lite uses the normal aspire coils, when the full size one uses the
nautilus ones, I had this discussion prevs in this thread if the full size nautilus used the same as the mini, and they do..

The silo mini does not have adjustable air flow so he is better off with the full size or the mini nautilus.

I am 99% sure they fit, if memory serves right Rip trippers review shows it using both coils.

I had a go with the Melo tank at the weekend, it feels lovely and well built, nice adjustable airflow and vapes nicely for under £20 quid cant go wrong.

Cant comment on the Silo though I haven't used/seen one

Pwoarh I just ate a worthers original toffee sweet thing, then vaped vanilla custard.

LUSH!! tasted amazing. think im going to have to look for some nice toffee flavoured flavour vapes, any recommendations?

I'd stick to the eLeaf ones if I were you until Aspire revise their wicking material. I've got loads of them and if you pull one apart the wicking material basically falls to bits. I've heard that it uses ceramic fibres.

I expect around 25 to 30 but I can top it up nearer 50 if it's well worth doing. Not looking for something hobbyist friendly though, more so something simple and reliable.
 
There are Eleaf branded coils available for that tank. Something like £1.70 each. I've just ordered one of the tanks myself as I liked the look of it.

eleaf istick 50w and either;

Mini Subtank (if you prefer lung hits)
Nautilus Mini (mouth to lung hits)
or possibly Beyondvape Silo (or Lite version).

Sounds like we have similar taste buds, my all-day is named After Eight, it's an in-house brand from a local shop named Vapour Republic and sounds very similar - tastes just like the old box of chocolates :)

A whole new world to me but feeling much better already having smoked 20 a day.

Can anyone give me some advice on how much liquid you go through a day or week in relation to heavy of a smoker you were?
 
I vape about 5ml per day of 6mg fluid. I used to smoke 20-a-day of Camel Yellow or Marlboro Red.
I was on 18mg fluid until recently but vaped a lot less of it. Maybe 3ml per day.
 
Used to smoke 6-9 a day.

Up until decemberish was using about 15 a day (homebrew still made it cheaper than smoking/shop bought juice!).

Stopped for a couple of months, and now using probably 5ml a day. on a basic 0.9ohm dripper setup.

Just out of curiosity, thought I'd google Vape shops close by to wear I live. Low and behold there was one 5 minutes away and they had the Istick 50w in stock.

Proud owner of one now with a Delta II. Very impressed with it.

Regarding the wattage, I know it goes up to 50w but is there a reason to max it out and run it at 50w rather than say at 20w? Not too clued up on the wattage malarkay.
