*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

I get ya. Though the S6 is near perfect and nothing else come close for me. Only the Moto X 2015 could tempt me, but they always fail in some area, mostly camera. And I'd want the newer OLED than last gen stuff.

Any reason you need screen protector? Do you work in a rugged environment?

Yeah they never get the newer panels, the Moto X 2014 has a bad screen, camera and meh battery life. Screen protector wise I think its a good idea to just stick a tempered glass one, its almost impossible to avoid those micro scratches and one day you will drop it and it could save you.

S6 Edge comes pre-scratched out of the box, no need for screen protector

WOW! That's not great at all

Problem is for the edge a tempered screen protector won't go edge to edge... Only that spigen 'flexible' one will which is a standard plastic one, not glass

That is what is making me tempted to get it, as I know it will pick up scratches otherwise

Their customer service is usually really good, think I will order it and just return it if it doesn't fit well

I don't mind a glass one - however this phone has 2.5D Glass so the finish will leave an air ring.

And :eek:to the scratches on delivery - that's why I prefer to deal with a reputable seller for an easy exchange.

Sorry, I should have quoted Gareth (the post with the red text). I wasn't just making a random statement. :)

everybody uses things differently.

what he said is true, people want an sd slot for cheap storage not to constantly swap out cards.

just because i use it different when im on holiday or on a day out doesn't mean it's wrong to do that.

why take 2 devices out when one device does everything and does it well..

This is a good point about the scratches on the Edge though...

it's possible that this is entirely a T-Mobile issue. It could also be an issue with only a certain production batch. Either way, the sample size is not nearly large enough to go throwing about terms like "all" or "global" when referencing the issue.

Until other carriers start sending out units we won't know what's what. Not to mention, unless somebody knows how things are going internationally, almost all these complaints around here seem to be coming from US buyers, so we definitely can't say it's an "across the globe" issue.
