Agreed. You can have my spot on the VoG Raid if you like cos I hate the place, but plunging straight into Hard Mode might be tricky for your first time.
Edit: While you're waiting, you could enter the raid on your own and try and get the first chest. Soon as you enter(after dropping into the Abyss), look for the first lamp and have that in front of you, then head about 45 degree to the left, theres a small room, if theres a light above the door its in there. if not the next one is further up that wall. You will struggle getting much further past there, so die and keep trying until the chest is in the first room. All that you get will be Radiant Shards/Energy but will need them to upgrade the final tree of any weapons/armour you get further on in the raid, nice to have some in stock.
I do this on all characters every week regardless of if Im raiding, if you're about tuesday I always solo that section on my hunter so you're free to tag along and you may get a arm piece of armour and a few more shards :]

That was a good bit of fun last night chaps, even if it did take us longer than normal to beat VOG HM.
I'm chuffed with a second FB (and third VoC) but annoyed that Anti didn't get a single weapon drop.
I got some valuable experience on the Templar relic but my god I suck at it! I'm fine at GK & Atheon but I couldn't get a good rhythm going.
Nice to see the bugs some out to play as well. ClockWork dropping over the edge in the middle after coming out of the portal was just hilarious. Being ported back to "Venus" when I am relic holder nearly wiping the whole team was not!
Anti - if you can get yourself to level 30 we can help you through at least the first two sections of CE HM. Might be worth LFG for a Crota CP with SB after that as the Deathsinger won't drop anything as we have already done it on normal (acts as a chest not a loot drop).

Last night was the most fun I have had gaming for a long, long, long time. So much fun, and yes, when ClocKwork just flew straight down the hole was hilarious

You can always count me in. Bought the 'don't touch me' gauntlets so they'll do for the abyss (if I use my hunter that is). Might just run the warlock with radiance, safe option.

Enemies are all level 33 so you will barely scratch them, and you'll be one shot by most stuff.You can be carried through ofc, up to Crota at least.
Cheers for the runs last night guys. After my double-dip disappointment of 2 NLB's from Crota this week I didn't end up too bad. The Deathsinger gave me another Suro last night and VoG Normal (5 manning it, good work!!) gave me Truth from the Gorgon Chest and Universal Remote from Atheon. Can't complain really.

If thats the case, I wouldn't mind doing NM again to get some Radiant Shards to upgrade my armour to hit Light Level 31...
Sadly that won't work as you have already run it this week.
I should be able to get us through the Abyss at least and the bridge section will be possible (although challenging).
That will offer up some more radiant materials and two potential gun drops (Arc pulse & Solar Auto).
