Since I got my first Insight point from a Madman's Knowledge that I found that I seem to ALWAYS have one Insight point. I don't know if it's a bug or if this is just how the levelling system works, but I never seem to run out.

Anyone else experience this?

You don't use/lose insight when you level up. Once you get 10+ you can spend it in the Hunter's Dream and there are some evil enemies later that steal it from you.

got to Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos and that boss is doing my head in, keep getting it to roughly 10-15% health and keep getting killed

yeah did it , having problems finding alfred atm, he is not spawning in any of the locations. surely not because i killed him in the early stages...

Achieved the Platinum trophy for this today. Man that cursed chalice dungeon was insane. 1/2 health and bosses harder than anything in the main game by a mile.

Interesting final boss in the 5th dungeon though - won't spoil it but you get an item and I believe it, along with others that disappear from your your game in NG+ (only items that do are plot or ending based) so could be something to explore in my NG++ run later.

Managed to finally down Amelia, followed by Amygdala, Shadow of Yharnham and Rom. Paarl served my rear up on a plate though, going to avoid that one for a bit.

Pretty straight forward apart from Amelia who gave me some problems yesterday, a bit of levelling and weapon improvements though and she went down first time :)

Those massive brain things and their 'frenzy' are annoying as hell though, best to just avoid them I think.

I found the only legit way to fight those is by equipping the run that gives +200 Frenzy resistance. Without that rune it's hard to kill them quick enough but with it they are easy.

On the last boss .....

The big fight with Gehrman, kicked my butt the first time but a very cool setting, reminds me somewhat of the MGS3 fight with Big Boss.

Will save the second attempt for a tomorrow :)

I've just reached the same bit and had the same outcome as your first attempt. This is going to be a cracker! :D

So I'm in battle against blood soaked beast (attempt 3) feeling confident after our last encounter. So early into the fight I dodge him and he clips through the floor and 10 or so seconds later he dies. :/

That's one way of doing it :D

So I got this yesterday and tried this last night...never played Dark Souls 1 or 2.

This is hard, I may need to farm blood so I can level up...managed to get to the first 2 bosses but cant do either of them! Dont want to cheat just yet with me only playing it for the first time

What should i be leveling up?
