*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

I went to look at a 64gig S6 Edge at CPW and they were selling them for £699. When I looked online later, the live chat said they were not selling them sim free.

Left hand...... Right hand.... lol

im looking for a sim free galaxy s6 edge 64gb, just cannot find it, will look in cpw store, hopefully others will start following, i find amazon uk a big let down

I have been playing with my S6 edge since Friday lunchtime (the S6 I mentioned in my last post didn't turn up, the 2nd parcel was a wireless charger & case)

My opinions -

The camera seems awesome, I've used it at a wedding and a horse show, at the wedding reception the thing that stood out was how well it works in dark conditions.

The battery life isn't that bad, certainly better than my 23 month old S4.

My only negative is how slippery it is, I never understood the point of phones not being plastic, plastic doesn't smash like glass does.

Got the S6 yesteday.

I thought I wanted the Edge but to be honest, it just felt awkward and not nice. Once the novelty of a nice curved screen wears off, I'd be left with an awkward feeling phone and it wasn't worth it (imo).

Can't find any faults so far - bar the audio jack being on the bottom.

OH, apart from the ridiculous trailing your hand over the screen to take a screenshot, what's the other method - I can't quite find it. Volume down + power doesn't seem to work.

Been a few days now, can we get soem feedback on how the battery life holds up?

Tempted by one of these but having gone from a Nexus 5 which died at 3pm to a Z3 compact which has insane battery, wary of phones which die before I get home at night!

Power and home button together.

I'm impressed with the battery with mine. Coming from a Z2 I know your worries, but yesterday I got 5 hours screen time and this is only off the first charge cycle.
