I can't find any overly useful stats to suggest it's mortality rate.
What about the little boy and the parents that were arrested? That took the boy to America and was cured…. They weren't as rich as Clarkson.

Thankfully there was a cure for him. Doesn't mean there's a cure for everything as long as you have enough money to throw at it.

Don't forget it's not just a cancer scare. He's also gone through a divorce, lost his mother and had the added stress of all his controversies over the past 12-18 months while still trying to be the figurehead of the worlds most popular TV show.
Not trying for a moment to justify his actions that day but nobody can imagine what state of mind he was in at that moment.
