What did you do to your bike today?

just relax more and enjoy the sunshine,no need to take unnecessary risks imo

country side and long open roads are places to open it up,without the risk of fools pulling out on you

Thanks for the comments and advice regarding my video, this is why i posted it up.

Only been riding for just over a year so every piece of advice is welcomed. To be honest since that incident iv noticed around town i tend to just follow the traffic instead of overtake.

never overtake a cop car let alone undertake it, unless your doing absolutely everything by the book.

Fitted my new levers today which I got from "the2wheels", only took a week to get here and they just look superb! I got shorty ones, titanium colour with black adjuster.

Just bought few more bits off eBay. Shiny radiator and oil cooler cover, rear smoked integrated tail lights (still using my indicators so it's all legal), autosol metal Polish with some fine wire wool to get the down pipes looking like new, weather sealant to go around the tail light, and a led flash relay to stop the flash flickering indicators. Oh, also some ring h4 bulbs that are pure white, and some Cree led side lights.

Cost very little money to give it my touch, and think they are all sensible mods :)

Went to the fens this weekend. Ride there wasn't nice, gusty as **** .... in the fens!! Ride back today was nice though, not as windy.

Got a sweet Garmin Satnav for my bike for about nowt in a deal I did tuther day. Nice widescreen model the screen is loads better than my TomTom. Ordered some clamps to mount it off Amazon for a couple of quid & found a 4 x AA Battery pack you can use with it to either extend the battery life or recharge it with, cost 7 quid & I already have 3 sets of rechargeable AA's & 2 Chargers for them.

Still waiting for my Gold Levers & Bar ends to come but got my Show plate Saturday but it's the wrong size. Also found some other nice Gold bits like Screen bolts/Pegs/Engine bolts etc

Apart from that all I've done really is ride her & wipe her over. :)

measure it with a tape measure or ruler, should be so many mm thick/long

It snapped and then got lost in the gravel, so I've made a guess and ordered from one of the eBay sellers if I've got it right then lovely if not it's only a quid.

went over wolvo today on the zx10r parked up a bit went to thumb the starter and flat battery, luck happened I was near a hill and bumped it

think the battery is on its way out as the bikes been standing over winter, its good few years old too

same symptoms as the previous battery when it failed

EDIT: oh and dropped on my rear footrest hangers at the blasters, idk whether to repaint them the same colour as the frame or have them polished and clear powdercoated
