***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

Was waiting a few days to see if this is the real deal in terms of performance before I double dip and it seems to be the case!

Is it worth punting (another) 40 quid at this or should I just hold out for a little longer for a discount? :p

£30 from GMG with codes. DEALSP-AWN21O-FFGMGE I think gives 22% off.

Tempted to pull the trigger right now!

BTW. Remember to increase the FOV in first person mode, makes a nice difference :) The setting is in "Display" section.

Right!!!!

Fresh install of Windows - check!
All drivers etc installed - check!
Steam installed - check!

Let the download commence yet again! *goes to pray in a corner that no more BSOD's happen*

Does it add much to the game, what about performance hit? I'm on Win 7 with 7950 too, the game is running great though and dont really want to mess it up ha

No noticeable performance hit and it makes it slightly more saturated and prettier so it's fine with me. No crashes since day one on vanilla or SweetFX.

How do you get joysticks to work with this? I spent a while going through the menus and still can't find how to get my X52 Pro to work. Keyboard is just about passable for planes but too clunky for flying helis.

Got a weird query.

When I drive I see a lot of traffic or obstacles, my online friend who is a passenger doesn't seem to see the same amount of traffic as myself, the driver.

Why is this?

Just over one day left of my download :D - along with patches and work, assuming all goes to plan, realistically I should be able to play on Wednesday :)

A little concerned about my SSD though - by the time the game has downloaded, and Steam has allocated space for the game, I should have about 70Gb left. Considering this is still the preload edition, I hope that it is enough. Might have to move some files around to achieve the final install though?

I have downloaded this game twice now and i still cant play it. Crashes every single time.

Seems like no fix either. So just a heads up of what could happen.

Hi all,

I have an issue with black bars around the screen when playing the game. The resolution settings are correct in the settings so not sure where I am going wrong. All my other games work ok. I have the Beta GTA V drivers if that makes any difference.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
