Today I fixed the split breather pipe which runs through the fuel tank. Now I can fill up to the brim without 10 litres of V-Power ending up all over my boots. Yay!!
Also replaced all the bolts on my Brembo goldline calipers with stainless steel jobs. 5 minutes to do and what a huge improvement looks wise over the rather shabby looking old ones. £6 well spent!

My Frank staffy dog is 14 this month & I've said for a long time I'm going on Tour when I lose him. I'll do the UK, Europe, Isle of MAN TT & now Kreeeeees'
I can't imagine how good it would be to follow someone who knows the roads around that part of the World, nice one Dude.
Today I'm going to get the bike out & see how it starts in the morning then I'm going to check the oil after yesterdays long run & generally give it a look over. If alls well I'm going to take him around all my fave roads & see how the big old beast handles.
Then it'll be home for a chain lube whilst the chain is still hot & onto some serious cleaning/tarting up.
Also I have to extend my shed as the bikes about 5 inches to long.
I'm planning on cutting a hole in the back of the shed on one side about 2 foot wide & building it out around 18 inches. Me & my neighbour was discussing it last night. I only need a couple of inches & the back extension seems the easiest way to get that room.
Busy day today then a, I'm so Lucky to have the days to myself.

I'll put up a video on my channel in the next 2 weeks of me following my girlfriends Swiss brother through some mountain passes. I learnt more in that one ride than I did in the entire last year of riding.
You can of course kip at mine if you do visit Switzerland, sharing my riding experiences (giggidy!) is what it's all about for me, both on YouTube and in person.
Got new rubber put on the bike. I still had a good 2-3k miles left in the OEM tyres but I have lost all confidence in them after a ride round Wales on some "roads". As I will do a little, minor, off roading I wanted a tyre that would suit that and the Anakee III is highly regarded as a mainly road tyre with the occasional off road fun.
It is also a good time to get Michelin tyres as there are 2 offers on atm, I only knew of 1, where you get £35 cashback from Michelin (either credit to your bank account or as a fuel card once they have verified the transaction) if you have 2 tyres fitted, £15 if only 1, and the offer I wasn't aware of is a further £25 taken off your bill at point of sale that is paid by Michelin towards your fitting costs.
Just letting the tyres cool down so I can check pressures before I go out and scrub them in.

It's funny how you get to know things about your bike. As I was riding it from the tyre fitter I thought to myself the tyres felt a little over inflated even taking into consideration they are new tyres and would feel a little different to my previous tyres.
Now they have cooled down I checked the pressures and both tyres were approx. 3 psi too high (and Michelin's pressure info for my bike with these tyres is exactly the same as Triumphs, 42 rear 36 front).

Went to Bern to have a lunch picnic with the missus and it took 4 times as long to get back in the 24 degrees weather and cloudless sunny skies.
I'm still trying to figure out how that happened

My bike felt skittish today, 36 is definitely way too high for the front tyre for me so I've dropped it from 36/42 to 33/36. Way better for me
