Did a 1RM yesterday on the Barbell bench. Never done one before managed 90kg.. It went up fine tried for 100kg, no go.. Will try fresh next week was pretty happy with that though as Its still 1.5x my body weight.
 
Has anyone here ever suffered from a shoulder dislocation? I dislocated my left shoulder 26 days ago and am still really struggling to get my deltoids to activate - how long did it take for feeling and senation to return and how long before nerves to start firing the muscles again?

Struggling to front and laterally raise much more than 3kg at the moment!

Delts are now firing again, doing an awful lot of functional rehab work on the shoulder and progressing well now, main movements are -

1 arm medicine ball slams
Medicine ball shot putting
Hand over hand weighted sled pulls
Front and lateral dumbbell raises
Internal and External shoulder rotations on cable machine
1 arm straight arm pull down on cable machine

I think I'll start doing some dumbbell overhead pressing soon too as opposed to barbell, so that the weight stabilised by just the one shoulder.
 
I deadlifted 180x5 yesterday, pretty chuffed with that. I need to work on my squats as they've gone down during my "diet"... My bench has been pretty poor though, at 3x5x75kg and I struggled with 77.5kg... What can I do to improve the bench press?
 
I appear to have lost a lot of motivation recently. Backs been fine for nearly a month, now it appears to have gone back to normal, which is generally aggravating 24/7 :p
 
I am 5ft6 and I hit 56kg post Ramadan while in Jordan... Not healthy.

My bench form - I will take a video but it probably sucks as I use a "narrowish" grip.
 
I'm only 5'6 and still the best part of 40kg more :o

(*The above response may or may not be based on the fact I'm jelly as I'm five inches taller than you and weigh about 20+kgs less - eternal 'do you even lift? look... :()

Sorely tempted to try GVT at some point, (preferably when I have money) and then I'll eat 5k cals a day and might finally gain some size.
