If you get a VG base premixed do you still need to steep?

Want to get into mixing my own liquid properly but i dont want to have to wait for steeping until I have made a few juices i like. Then i will make big batches from scratch.

All liquids could really do with some steeping. Some you can get away with vaping straight away, like Red Astaire, but even that, I feel it comes more alive after a week or so.

Just mix up some juices, and steep them a week. Do what you normally do in the meantime. You can, of course, try them earlier, and see what like though.

Any way to increase the airflow on the subtank mini rba? Having gone back to it after using an rda it feels very restrictive :(

Oh, rda + 50w istick isn't a great mix in my experience so far, just not powerful enough. I have a feeling a b&m near here has an smy 260w, worth a punt at the right price?

Wouldn't really use a 50w istick for a dripper. But for tanks, oh yeah.

Why not just use a mech for dripping? You can get nice tube or box mechs for pretty cheap, or build your own...

Add a resistor and some cables, good to go for around £20.

That Cosmic Fog Cola Gummy sounds interesting, if it turns out half as good as it sounds I would be interested in your recipe to give it a try if you dont mind.

Just got the last of the ingredients through this morning. Mixed up a batch at 6mg/ml at 25/75 ratio. This mix will be for dripping, lol.

My mate is picking me up another 15ml of the genuine stuff today too while he is in town, so I'll be able to do a side by side comparison in a week or two once it's steeped properly.

Although I suspect the genuine stuff is 50/50

Got my other two Infinite Kayfun V4 clones built up last night. Both are just as good as the first one. No leaks, easy to build on, well built.
I'm running a 1.2 Ohm build (8 wraps of 26AWG over 3mm) with organic cotton wick.
I've found that having the cotton looser than I would in the KFL or RBA decks for the Subtank works best. Having the cotton too tight in the coil seems to mess up the flavour.

The only issue I have is that the measured resistance of the coil seems to wander about. This isn't unique to the clones as it affects the genuine V4s too. There's a couple of fixes that people have mentioned so I'll try them next time I have the build deck out. One is to crimp the spring down a bit so it grabs the airflow tube tight. The other is to back out the airflow screw, turn it around and put it back backwards. Then put the deck back on the juice control base and screw the airflow screw down on to the 510 pin. This messes up the airflow control though and means you can only have it wide open. I'll try the spring fix first.

I still cringe at the memory of vaping on Grants. Second least favorite vape closely followed by 5pawns.

Not worth the hype or the cost imo

I love GVC but his sales practice irritates the hell out of me. I'm going to try some of those Isle of Custard flavours you mentioned. Just ordered the Fools Custard and Pieces of Ape (I love banana)
I've tried many custards but never found one yet that compares to GVC.

They have the best imo custard flavour, you can taste it so well. Thing I've found with GVC is people either love it or hate it.

I ordered a sample pack for jax's months ago, admittedly I've only tried the doughnut flavor one and it's lush... but for the price it's worth a look for any custard lovers. I mean 9x10ml for £29.99... bargain!

http://jax-vanillacustardvapes.com/products/sample-box-10ml-of-all-6-flavours

I bloody love the Peanut flavour from there, its epic. Ordered more of that one.

Out of all the flavours I only really found Rhubarb, Peanut and Banana to have much of a flavour, rest were a bit meh.

Have to say I was disappointed with GVC. I wouldn't say I hate it but I wouldn't bother with it again, it has a very synthetic taste and Scopes is much better imo. I've ordered some Black Beard's Blood to try, very good price for 100ml.

I also need to get some of Mrs Lorsd summer pudding. I got one of my employees to make the switch to vaping and he's been on it all week. It Smells lush kind of like purple chewits. :)

So, differences to stainless steel praxis mod from fasttech, being copper its supposed to hit harder, I guess it does but the difference, I mean, I notice the difference from the nemesis to the stainless steel praxis by MILES, but from a stainless steel praxis to a copper one, I barely notice a difference at all, all I can say is the copper one well its made by a different cloner in china, its a lot lot lot better built, the fire buttons buttery smoothe doesn't stick doesn't fall apart and have to DIY fix it, its perfect, only down side is I stripped the hybrid top cap already after one day, so I gotta use the one from the SS praxis fits perfect, but that's copper for ya its softer than SS.. was my own fault though over tightening my dripper to the top cap.

Also now the copper praxis has arrived I can work on my custom dripper top cap, heres a picture of one fitted, But this one well I worked on it other night after a few beers, tried drilling some holes in it made a right mess and the holes don't line up on each side so not gonna show ya that :p but anyway,
jobs that need doing are simple, when sober drill some decent air holes, polish it up with the dremmel so the finish is the same... sorted

Also whilst im here a picture of my devices, and the only one that gets 24/7 use is the sigelei, the rest just sit there for a rainy day when im bored and want to make a coil or for when I go outta the house and cant take my box with me.... I really need a smaller box mod, I actually cant be bothered with mechs I like constant power, but I keep buying them I don't know whats wrong with me :p

Also, this very moment I just mixed up some liquid as I just finished off a bottle, and I remember I was talking about steeping on the last page.

From left to right, On the left is a 3 day steeped vanilla custard, the 2nd to left bottle is the mix I just mixed up right now, then the next bottle is nicotine, the next is VG (yes its empty almost AHHH! ebay now), next is my favourite vanilla custard, iv tried fancy recipies of vanilla custard, left steeping for a month etc blah blah, actually doesn't taste as nice as the way I do it, but that's me, everyone has there own taste and flavour and preference etc.

But anyway, you can see the colour difference in the steeped bottle on the left after 3 days, honestly its smoothe, no inconsistencies, its ready to vape, iv left a bottle for a month of the exact same mix and it tastes no different at all to me. I turn my bottles upside down twice a day like I said and give em a shake.

Also, what I use is clasikool VG from ebay, 7 quid for 1 litre, perfumers apprentice vanilla custard 100ml tenner from vapable.com, (100ml is enough for 1 litre). and 100ml of vg based nicotine from bluestar. so it comes up to about 20 quid for 1 litre of eliquid. and people pay a few quid for 10ml? never again!

Also, my mix is for 100ml of eliquid, 10% flavouring, so that's 10ml, then 4.5ml of nicotine to equal 3mg there abouts, then the rest VG till the 100ml bottle is full, so that equals, 10%pg, 90vg, 3 to 3.25mg, easy peasy.

What post system do people use to get their order from fasttech?

I'm trying to work out which one is the fastest, but it's quite random. Depending on if they have the item in or if it's a case of item in stock in (x) days, how long it sits there are the outgoing airport/shipyard, how long it sits at our airport(s) and of course good old Pat and Jess.

I only tend to place one order per month, it helps with the wanting someone new.. Some comes within 10 days and some takes weeks.. Had one that FT said it was shipped and the tracking system had nothing for it for 10 days.

Edit: I've found a good use for my Lemo Drop, vaping juice that I don't like for one reason or another. The tank just drinks juice and it leaks so bottles get empty pretty quickly, with the fact that I find the tank a pain to use, I don't have to adjust it for that prefect taste.

lol... mate, I been vaping this god awful juice "The Sinner" all week to get rid of it, I've mixed it in with plenty of menthol and it still tasted like a fat person's armpits!

It was the last 18mg juice I have; so it had to be done and I've finally go to my last tank of it, so I treated myself to a tank of green crack and was reminded why I'd ordered 120ml bottle of it... LUSH!

I decided life's to short to vape juices I don't like so I either sell them on, give them away or bin them. I really wanna try those custard juices and the cereal milk juice from no 1 e juice company. Got some accies rhubarb and custard coming today as well.

As for my mod its a small brass screw in 510 as the v3 doesn't have spring loaded

I never had to do any of that mate. Ohms stayed bang on all the time on my genuine but it did happen on the clone I had. Kayfun 4's work best with a spaced coil and yeah you're right about the looser cotton making a difference. The trick is to cut it flush with the deck but not touching it and fluff it up so the juice cones up and straight into as much wick as possible as quickly as possible

I've tried regular airmail, singapore post and china post. Sweden Post is in progress due to batteries being mailed.

So far China Post seems to be the fastest for me, I've had stuff delivered to Scotland within 7 days but other stuff has taken up to 10 days.

SingaporePost and regular airmail have been 2 weeks minimum so far.

General consensus for SwedenPost is that it'll be 14 to 21 days.

Thanks bud.. I try that method next.. :)

I know what you mean, a lot of the juices I get sounds good on paper which I use to bulk up orders for free delivery, so come highly recommended and of course there's the daily vapes/reorder of juices. Sometimes I get bored, some needs steeping, some work better in one sort of build or another.. And they all tend to get forgotten about. I'm just trying not to order anymore in at the moment, far too many unopen bottles.

Is it worth trying a new bass 510 pin in your mod? To stop the fizzing..
Enjoy your holiday bud!

EDIT: I know this is not a lot for some people but it drives my OCD nuts when I open the cupboard and see this:

most of that is unopened...

I too find china post the fastest. I once had a delivery to my door within 5 days, over the weekend too. Wouldn't have been much faster from UK.

I do have some batteries on the way though, so they are using Sweden Post.

I also have some topcaps, and a silicon sleeve for my istick (which is coming from China too, but from a different supplier, so different postage, only just sent). But they are just coming regular airmail, as I don't really care when they arrive.

As with all Chinese acquired goods, order and forget. If it takes 5 days or 2 months, I don't generally care. It's always a nice surprise when they come. If I wanted it that week, I'd generally pay the 30-50% premium for it.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust it to be honest.

Just get your concentrates from reputable ecig sellers. Then you know your as safe as can be. It's not like it's overly expensive either. Usually £2-4 for 10ml of concentrate, which can flavour up to 100ml of eliquid, depending on how strong you like it.

Anyone tried food flavourings from morrissons or Asda?

They might be oil based and that is very bad news. They tend not to be strong enough and it isn't worth the risk. They might contain some of the flavourings we know are risky and don't add to juice too. Flavouring is the bit we really know enough about.
