Got some vape mail.
KF4 clone.. Talk about over engineered!
4Nine clone.. This is going in the bin, there's no venting at all. There's a whole in the button but it's blocked by the magnet. I'll see if I can fix it but I don't really need/want it now.

I finally got my mcr101 18650 tub mod today :) life is complete!
 
Hi again been looking into what i want to get on pay day. Just need some advice. The Kangertech EMOW Mega Tank With Adjustable Airflow. Would tht be usable on the 30w istick box mod? Im trying to not spend to much pref around £50 for the lot thts all lol. Also with some new Juice lol.

ive only got my flavours for well known shops but i was wondering if some are just the same as you can pick up anywhere.

i got aniseed and liquorice today for vapeesscape. i like mine strong so i put 20% aniseed in and its waaay to strong. i know i should leave it a few days but i needed something new :-)

can anyone recommend me any 24/7 vipe flavours? only one ive found that i like is kola kisses (cola cubes) but vapeesscape have stopped doing the concentrated one now :-( and once you make your own it feels like your getting ripped off if you buy the pre mixed from a shop

It's not a very good tank mate.. I have the EMOW mini as I wanted to use it with a mini ecig mod, but it didn't fit. It's just the same tank as a kanger aero series with updated airflow, but the main chamber doesn't remove for cleaning.

What tank do you have at the moment?

I think you'd like T juice red astaire, it is 'red' fruits with a aniseedy exhale. It is my go to all day vape these days.

If they contain Oil or Diacetyl, steer clear.

Diacetyl afaik is used to make things taste uhmm buttery but any flavour that is similar to Banana, Caramel, Custard, Hazelnut, Strawberry (probably others) could contain Diacetyl, even if it's not stated on the label.

As others have said, I'd steer clear of supermarket flavourings, just to be safe.

Atm i dont have anything, i use a falcon ecig that i get from my petrol station with their juices.

I am new to all of this so trying to get onto the right track before i spend £50 and for it not to work cos i messed up lol.

My personal recommendation is an istick 30/50w with an aspire nautilus mini, or beyond vape silo, the subtank mini is a great tank for what it is, but it's not design for mouth to lung vapers unless you make sure you get one with the new air control system.

unfortunately all the mention devices will cost more than £50 pounds but well worth the bit of extra cash.

I got the kf4 clean, coiled and wicked..

not a fan of the screws to hold the coil, far too small to hold any fat gauge wire so I used 28AWG. The clone itself is tidy, not much oil but a few extra bits of metal that I had to remove from some of it's millings, can be quite dangerous as they could have broken off and get inhaled.

I've also discovered that the sx mini m-class is not the device to use to make coils with, the ohm meter doesn't heartbeat like on other devices so you have to keep asking it to read the coil again (both up and down button), so I used my rdna to pulse the coil. :)

Heisenberg / Pinkman from Vampire Vape.

All of my mates who vape have moved to Heisenberg after trying it. Tastes a bit like blackcurrant Tunes.
 
Already swapped the pin,Slinx and no joy. Seems to of mellowed a bit and a whopping 3mm coil with rayon in the Squape is fine. Ill look at mods when I return but until then thanks!

It's not that they are too small, it's that they have rounded heads underneath where they grab the wire. I agree that they are a pain. I'm building with 26 AWG in mine and the screws nearly made me do a desk flip earlier. I'm going to buy some other screws if I can find some in the right size with flat bottoms.

I see you have the clear bell-top on. I hate that as it removes one of the key benefits of the V4 of being able to fill it from the top while it's on your mod and not having to drain the tank to access the coil. Yeah, I suppose you can use the little stopper thing that comes in the kit but it's rather inelegant compared to using the normal tank pieces.

I ended up wrapping the wire around the screw, then the other screw in a figure of 8 before screwing down, undoing the wire from the other screw before twisting it off. But doing it with a fat 0.45mm wire was just a next to impossible! lol

I can't seen why they just don't give us one fat screw on either side rather than two small screws. Also in this day and age giving us some sort of square washer on the screw to camp it down like on car amps.

It took me a bit to figure how the hell I was suppose to fill it up with the bell cap, so yeah in the end I went for broke. placed the bung in, filled the bell cap then screwed on the bottom. From the looks of it, it can be filled from the top, the gap between the chimney chamber and the hole for the drip tip is big enough to force the o-ring out of the way and use a needle. But if the juice stay in is another question. You should still be able to get to the build by turn the ring with the air holes thou.

But really it is a bloody good vape, it even makes this bean flicker juice really nice, lol. I'm really impressed with the KF stuff, enough to get the authentics but it's a heavy bills month this month. :(

Oh FT has a bell cap for the subtank mini now... has anyone played around with the haze mini yet? looks just the right size, bigger than a derringer but still small enough for the go.
 
I've been playing around with different coils in my K4s and I'm finding that a 2.5mm coil gives better flavour than a 3mm. Not sure why though.
 
Kanger QA has really gone down the pan recently. I bought 10 original dual coils from them for my Aerotank and have had to bin 6 of them as they were all burning.

Need to get the Subtank and start making my own............
 
Are you sure that they really are genuine coils? I bought some for my old Aerotank a while back and although they looked genuine, they were fake and all burned and tasted awful.

Well they could be fakes. They were sold as genuine and came in packaging that looked exactly like genuine ones I have bought before. I just don't know.
