Will be mate. Would prefer to do the NF first, and then the weekly. Both on my 28 Hunter. Still tempted to buy MIDA, although, would I use it?

TLW is meh.

I also want Mask of The Third Man for my Hunter, but that ain't in Xurs pockets this week :(
 
I wouldn't mind a hand through the NF with my 29 warlock if people are running it. On now if people are about.

Also, worth picking up MIDA I reckon, it's good fun.

I used Epilogue, some average shotgun and the truth.

Stick with groups steal kills, stay at the back of a pack and when you hear heavy ammo inbound get to the side where you guys spawn and camp then move near it after waiting around for a bit.

Then just camp a nice spot where you can lock onto enemies from and not be snuck upon.

Another option would be corrective measure, but the truth is far more effective IMO in PVP, you can kill 3-6 guys in a group instantly. With truth all you need to do is aim and shoot, it locks on very quickly and it's tracking is the best you will ever see.

I did the bounty extremely quickly playing in normal pvp, although i would say i'm a decent player when it comes to PVP, i much prefer it to PVE but without dedicated servers it's painful to play.

I have Atheons Epic-log (can't spell), Swordbreaker for the void shotty, and my awesome M18Harms Way is void... I don't have Truth :(

This is load out I used (had swordbreaker as my shotgun), manged to get it done in a couple of hours one night :D. I did mine playing normal control during the IB event, all the good players are off in IB so it makes it slightly easier.
 
I did the Thorn bounty as a Hunter (no void grenades, melee or super :( ) with Atheon's Epilogue, Light/Beware (void fusion), and Corrective Measure. It actually wasn't too bad, but I didn't get very many kills with the Epilogue.

If I was doing it again now, I'd go with Word of Crota, Swordbreaker, and Corrective Measure.

I would totally recommend a machine gun over a rocket launcher. You get 3-4 rockets which, unless you find people in groups, often translates to 3-4 kills. With Corrective Measure, you can quite often get 10+ kill sprees and still have heavy ammo when the next drop comes in. Of course, that was before the last round of changes to the Crucible when there was a bit more ammo floating around.
 
I did the thorn bounty with random blue void weapons as a 30 odd Titan as I didn't have much else to use :o. Got thru it with a fusion rifle and a shotgun (no primary lul).

Its not too hard I imagine with a primary as well. Q

Too add too this, I've found low rate of fire/high stability machine guns to be the best, people lag in PVP a tonne and the game just doesn't keep up with the rate of fire, I've used maybe 20 clips, all show a hit counter, only a few actual did damage.

Jolder's Hammer is pretty epic, almost always get 5 kills with it since it takes 3 shots to kill things.
 
Jolder's Hammer w/ Field Scout or Deviant mavity-A w/field scout & increased stability are my favs.

Need to try out this Xerces-C I had drop with the perk that is the same as Suros.

You don't need to aim with Truth as it has proximity detonation. Blind fire otherwise that perk is pretty much wasted.

I'll run them with you mate. I think I still have the weekly to do on my hunter but I'll help you finish yours off. Need to kill stuff to get glimmer anyway!

And tomorrow, how about some Fireteam IB? :D

Great! Defo for IB - just posted on the other thread to confirm. Would be better to split these threads into general and fireteam threads IMO!
