Most games 4gb is ok for bad console ports 6 / 8 gb is needed
4GB @ 4K is the equivalent to 1080p gaming on a 1GB card though is that really enough?

What do people here think the ideal amount of VRAM for 4K gaming is?
Personally I think that 2GB VRAM for 1080p is not enough now, 3GB is better and 4GB should be enough. Translated to 4K which is 1080p x 4, that means that 8GB is not enough, 12 is OK and 16GB VRAM would be ideal.
Sigh, another 4K thread with dreamers stating they are running games running near max settings on a single GPU. No.

Well to be fair they are running the games at 4k near max settings.
What is BS though is 52fps minimums on a single 980.
