Wow, i'm absolutely amazed the UFC have done the right thing for once. They should have been harder on him over the coke incident. perhaps he would've taken his life outside of the octagon a little more seriously if they had.

DC Vs Rumble, that's a good replacement. UFC 187 is still awesome!
 
DC is the only one in my mind that can step up against Rumble. I still fancy Rumble though but I think DC will try and stifle him with wrestling as much as he can.

Utterly crazy about Jones though. I read he might get as much as 2 years in jail?!
 
Excellent decision by Dana and co. I hope Jones can get his life back on track outside of the octagon.

DC was definitely the best replacement, he must be thrilled to get another shot at the LHW title.

Looking at the rankings there really wasn't anyone else suitable to step in against Johnson - there isn't even an outside candidate that is on any sort of a run - the closest you will get is Bader who is on a 4 fight streak!

Great decision to strip Jones of the belt by the UFC imo - hopefully this will be the wake-up call that gets his life back on track!

Reebok have dropped Jones as well by all accounts. Really, I have no sympathy, the guy is a reckless lunatic.

Hope he gets banned from driving for a very long time, as it's only a matter of time until he kills someone. This is like his 4th incident on the road, ridiculous.

As for DC Vs Rumble, i'm siding with DC. Johnson obviously has awesome power but DC can take a shot. He will take him down and grind on him ala Koscheck.

Awesome card that is, card of the year always used to be the new years card but this will be hard to beat providing everyone stays healthy.

Browne Vs Arlovski is on as well, that should be a good fight!

Other than Belfort, is anyone on that card particularly injury prone?? Granted I don't know much about Nurmagomedov but I can't think of anyone else that is particularly prone to injury - Jones is prone to being a complete spanner I'll grant you, but not injury! :D
 
Masvidal may step in for khabib hope it happens will be an explosive fight.

Rumble vs DC is still an excellent fight, think rumble takes it with his improved take down defence!

Shame about JJ I read he was one more fight from beating spiders record and becoming the best fighter ever, now he will have to fight for the belt again and win it and then climb up to over 9 wins... that will never happen he will just have to remain 2nd best I guess !
 
Always amazed by how Cerrone never gets injured. Fights so often, is an actual cowboy, lives an insane life and he is always there on fight night.
