***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Picked this up from Tesco earlier. I appeared to have amassed £44 in Tesco discount vouchers so £110 became £66. Happy with that :)

One question, with some many bag 1 2 and 3s how do I know which bag to start with?

You don't you have to empty them all out. Very annoying, especially with a big kit and a young son as you know you won't get all the bag ones done in a single sitting.

At least there numbered! The 24 Hour Race Car isnt numbered at all and isnt even organised well in the bags they are in! Massive issue for a £100 set IMO.

Ordered the death star. Will flog the minifig and poster for £20 hopefully, so about £230 after them plus a few more VIP points to add to the pot.

I just built this set recently, it's a bit of a beast! I just had all the no. 1 bags opened on a tray and did it like a child, probably because it's the best, biggest and most expensive set I've ever owned and also the first set I've built in well over a decade.

It's great, I love it :D

Tbh any part of that is better than an apple watch ;)

Was it a choice of posters? If so I have a 1 in 6 chance of getting him the revenge of the sith :(

I was just given that one, although I'm sure in-store you can ask for a particular one. Perhaps Eps. 1-3 have been burnt round the back? :p

Daughters first time in a Lego store today, she was amazed. Also the reason we now have a pen pot masquerading as a house :o

Anyone got any tips for bricklink? Ive got a tiny order, about 40 parts, but cant seem to get more than 1 or 2 parts per store.

Thats the only frustrating thing, and you will find a store with everything, yet its more expensive so you have to weigh that up with the shipping costs etc >_<

I personally thought this was great as the bags make finding the bricks less fun in my opinion. And it didn't really take much more time to build. Well I had one brick wrong and had to get it sent out towards the end but yeah.

I was playing with my mates sons lego the other day and got that pins and needles you get when you've been having so much fun playing with lego you forgot you've been sat on your leg for hours!

After a lovely day out at Legoland Windor I'm now the owner of a Snowspeeder, Kit 75049.

Quick question is the kit 7657 AT-ST in the same scale?

Finally completed Bricklink order. Took ages as I was identifying parts from the instructions and could find no UK stockists with all the parts. Very time consuming for a small number of parts.
