***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Apparently Simpsons Series 2 CMFs are showing up in a few stores, can anyone confirm/deny? Need to get started PRONTO.

Yes they are in a few smaller toy stores, not seen them in Argos/Supermarkets yet though. Lots for sale already on eBay and a few have them for trade on http://swapfig.com/

The 24-Hr racer is bigger IRL than I imagined, I thought it would be more 1:10 Enzo scale and not as long as the GP Racer.

Randomly I've just been watching a Tested.com video from the Star Wars celebration event and they briefly mention a new Imperial Shuttle is coming soon, smaller than the amazing one that goes for £400, but still looked very good. Anyone else heard about this, definite purchase from me if correct! Assuming it might be part of the new line coming around Force Awakens?

Love the design of this ship, still awesome today.

I'm just waiting for the may the 4th promotion to get yularen. Kicking myself for not getting revan last year. Then I will put in a couple of orders.

And picked up the Hulk buster kit on offer. Doesn't look like much for £30 but I'm happy enough as we got it for £19.99.

Aye, got the flyer about May 4th in post. Will have a look. Is the free minifig rare etc, like the recent winter soldier thing?

I'm not bothered about minifigs so would flog it on eBay, but it'd be useful to account for when costingva purchase.

I bought Metal Beard Dual and the Hulk Buster set at the same time, both for £30. The Metal Beard kit makes the Hulk Buster one look really poor value for money.

Yeah Revan goes for around £20 these days, you just have to sit on the figure in the bag for a year :) My son would want yularen as he's anakins venator commander in Clone wars. I will put in two orders and get one for the bay. :)

Yeah tbh it's a perfect kit for me, my sons really absorbed in Marvel and there's no where near as much out to collect as SW. I am hoping to go the figure only route as much as is financially sound so not to clutter up with more sets. The hulk buster is atleast not giving me more buildings and vehicles.

Minifig collecting is madness. I'm trying to get the figures from this set, which I can get for £29.99 bnib.

http://brickset.com/sets/76005-1/Spider-Man-Daily-Bugle-Showdown

Yet to price the figures £9 Nova, £8 beetle, £7 Dr doom £4 JJ £4 spiderman.

So that sets at the point I might as well buy it with the box and have better value or resale.

For anyone interested, the LEGO Technic Volvo L350F Wheel Loader (42030) is currently £112.50 + 1.5% Quidco from Tesco Direct. Or same base price on Amazon.

Great price considering its the flagship model and RRP is £170, which has been pretty firm since it was released.

Do you need to do anything special to get that price? It's showing at £130 for me although says £112.50 next to it in the "Customers who viewed this ultimately bought" section

Ordered the 24 Hour racer. Would have been £65.21 the other day from .de so couldn't resist this time round. :p
