Where did it all go so wrong for him as a person.
Fantastic driver but I cant stand him any more.

Is it just me or do the stripes and swoops not look orange?!

Not keen on the red swoop halfway up the nose, but other than that its much better.

I expect it is a pretty bright orange/red in real life. The Rocket Red of the Vodafone days was a bright orange type colour I'm reality but came accross as red on TV.

Edit: hang on, is the nose shaped to fit the swoop at the top where it attaches to the car? Seems overly complicated for something that's usually just a square join.

Slightly off topic from the season long facepalm from McLaren here is something that has been bothering me for quite a while... This aero shape which has been a common feature on race cars for decades now, does it have a name?

It's all gone so wrong because he takes pictures of his pet and has interests and hobbies outside of Motorsport? Looks like things are going pretty well for him tbh.




McLaren looks better but I don't like the upper red paint on the nose when you look at it from the front. Makes it look like it has a huge bulge on the nose

I also found the post rather ridiculous. He's into music rather than exclusively into F1, so something went wrong?

Some people just want to hate everyone that isn't their favourite driver. I like most drivers, Button is funny off track, Vettel is very funny off track... really only the finger irks me about him. I find Button to be a boring driver and I love the way Hamilton drives, and the way Kimi drives, and the way Alonso drives(mostly). I don't feel the need to love Hamilton off the track nor hate other drivers because they aren't Hamilton. I don't care what Hamilton gets up to either at F1 events or away from F1, why do people who don't like him care so much?


The Mclaren wing, want to see more pictures, from different pictures both the bits on the nose and the sidepod area look different shades from different angles. Lighting or actually intended to be like that, we'll see. The orangey look seems a bit crap, the proper red looks a lot better. If it looks more red than orange on track it will be fine.

How is any of the stuff like that bad?
 
Its just my opinion, I like Button, Ricciardo, Webber etc, I like the guys to be great at their job and stay grounded.

I just cant stand Hamilton, knowing how he used to be. He won sports personality and yet imo he has none, its all fake to seem "cool".

So odd....yes but hey this is an off topic thread.
 
In what way isn't hamilton grounded... because he likes music as a hobby/alternate career... is he bad at his job somehow as a result of doing music in his spare time? Why is it fine for Alonso to attempt to buy and intend to run a team in his spare time, or for Webber, Button, Ricciardo to have hobbies, I'm sure many of which you don't also do.

How exactly did Hamilton used to be that is different to now. Do you think he hated music at 15 or 20 and found it at 30? Or do you think you know more about it now than before?
