The step up from a aerotank mini too an RDA is a massive step and a very very different vape!

An RDA wont really fire with only 30w so you will need more power. My suggestion would be some form of subtank on your 30w istick first. It will be a massive improvement over what you've got now.

if you get the kanger subtank you also get a rebuildable base so you can practice coil building.

I have never built that low before. is it not an insanly hot vape?
I have recently got the royal hunter RDA which is very similar to the mutation X the spit back protector is lovely to stop the hot bombs flying into your mouth

It's not at all, actually - the airflow is so immense that it cools down and is really smooth. Now if I let the wicking dry out a bit, that's another story altogether!

I do want to try building lower, but my Sig100w only fires down to 0.1ohm, so I might look into getting a mech.

I have never seen the need to build so low. @0.4/0.5 ohms i can chuck some serious clouds.

If you don't mind the size and weight of it, it's hands down the best device I used. It's that good, I was tempted to trade of my rnda40 to get another one.. but the size and weight of it stopped me. I don't really need two m-class now.

Evolv do have a 50w chip coming out in October-ish... so except new mods in November but you can be waiting foreve for the next thing on the market.

When I saw one of EVL drip tips on another forum and I didn't think much of it, it was an odd colour with an odd design

I hope your not slating my driptip as this would cause me to cry for weeks

I ordered one for few of my friends, I was going to be a hero!!

EDIT; you would have thought they would rectify the problem on their site though.

Also, their email says that the error was down the the website suppose to be going live 15th April, guessing he means May?

Well, I did it. I hit order on the SX Mini M-Class. Also ordered another Lemo 2 and some NI200 coils for the Subtank.
I don't expect I'm going to bother much with temp limiting as it seems like a lot of faff to get a similar result to a good kanthal build.

TBH I've not done much recently with NI200.. but at least it works on the M-Class if and when wanted.

I do like the looks of their mod: Joyetech Evic VT 60 Watt... looks like a Camaro, so it's got to be good and no doubt cheap-ish too.

My 50w istick started to auto-fire today...I left it on the side at work for an hour and when I went back the Subtank was empty, all over the worktop and it was too hot to touch.

Loads of reports like that with them. Even when turned fully off it will turn itself on and start auto firing. They melt and catch fire when charging too.

Lots of reports of this on reddit, despite my 50w currently being fine I intend to trade it in for something like a sigelei 50w or kx-50d.
