If cycling 85 miles isn't sponsorship worthy enough, I am also going ahead with getting my legs waxed on Friday... Fun times.

Will there be a writeup from the leg waxing/photos/data for speed comparison so we can calculate the watts you've saved? :p

Think I've decided to go custom build wheelset instead of factory. Will be made by Paolo/Ugo (bike radar) on h plus son archetype rims (24/28). I cannot decide on hubs. Miche primato, solid well regarded hub and at £75 a pair very cost effective. My question is am I mad to be considering hope mono rs/dura ace hubs (£200+with qr) above the Primatos?

There's no rush for a reply, just when you have some spare time, cheers for that!

Huge reply sent! ;)

Anyone recommend some glasses, the Oakley radarlock are super fit but not sure I can stretch my budget that far. Anything dece in the <£60 market?

I'm still using my DHB 3-lenses, may get something different in the summer but new wheels/clothing is more important than flashy glasses to me! :)

Took the afternoon of to go riding with a few friends. Two of them bailed so the remaining two of us just headed up the Brickworks and then back down through bits of Cheshire. Really wanted to PR this segment so I'm pretty happy with the time. On top of that I PR'd a lot of the other Brickworks segments and finally started to overtake OMS and another decent climber I have on Strava. I'm coming for you guys :p

I think the general consensus is cycling stuff OcUK will never stock so we're left alone (but use any/all links at your own risk/discretion). Unsure about eye-wear, as OcUK sell tshirts and mugs...?

If those Oakleys are under £80 then throw the link my way too! ;)

Guys...

Thoughts on the Shimano RS11 Wheelset, currently ~£90 from Wiggle. I would use them as a replacement for my Giant wheels and then buy ~£280 handbuilt in future. For a 3rd of the price I don't want to miss out on a bargain! ;)

is what I'd recommend! :) had them for like 6-7k miles now? and not a single spoke went poof, they're still as true as day 1, still spin like nothing else and the only reason I try to use them less is because the braking surface is getting to a point where it's going to pop soon haha :o
