Very strange.
Astonished as to how well this runs on my paltry rig (in Sig) had to remove my cups 3Ghz overclock before it would run smoothly, mostly high / very high settings but I only have 1280x1024 on my current monitor, half vsync and its so very smooth and runs so much better than GTA IV.
Flew out over the ocean earlier, had a lack of talent moment and ended up in the sea, whilst diving to avoid the Police, I got stalked and then eaten by a Shark!
Great! This game is just ****ing great!
Not touched multiplayer yet, no need!
Something chillingly satisfying about climbing the crane and sniping from on a high,especially when I slomotion headshot the chopper pilot and down they all go!
R* have taken gaming to a whole new meaning, awesome.

Think I have another headset to test it with somewhere. Might also try plugging it in through the rear jacks instead of the front panel....
You got anything running in the background that might be causing the game to lose focus?
- WiFi drivers (especially TP-LINK)
- Malware/Virus
- Properties>Run as admin check if its ticked, if yes then untick vice versa.
- Drivers - Clean install? DDU is your tool for that...
- Multiscreen setup, sometimes unplugging and plugin additional monitors & restarting does the trick, it did it for me as I was getting black screens and it was kicking me out to desktop after the I fixed the black screen issue...

Me and you have very similar hardware (from the 1950's
)The game runs so nice and smooth at 30fps (at 60fps I have to have the settings to look worse than what it looks on the console, no way I'm having that).
I have noticed in some areas I get 40-50 fps, so you're best off changing the sync to full! I'm running things at normal/high/very high mixture. Mostly limited by my card's vram unfortunately.
Nice heist run tonight with Rizzee, DirtyJester and Gamble. Did Pacific Bank job, all setup and the finale. Setup went pretty smooth, only 2-3 restarts in all the 5 setups, the finale we had some connection problems alas, some of us kept dropping. Still @30min later we all got in again and did it after several failed attempts to escape the bank. Those cops really didnt wanna let us go and suddendly, on our successful run, everything was really easy, we even lost the cops somehow real quick, although we didnt take the bikes and used a different route. Cops picked on us again once we got into the mountain area but we made it to the boat real easy. We all got in, police helicopters getting close and suddenly Gamble decides to go for a swim 
. Thankfully, with the choppers firing at us, he got in on time and we hightailed it out of there. Completion on hard, no elite challenge though, Total taking @1.25 mil, @400K cut each I think. Well done chaps .

How do you all meet up? I'm really struggling with setting up heists, nobody joins or they bail, its infuriating!

Unless you are hosting the finale, then they are all quick to join and demand an even split!

Settings:
Everything is up very high/ultra with the exception of grass and msaa - they are turns off.
Nothing is enabled in advanced graphics.
I think it started as someone invited crew from their game they were hosting. But for me, I added some people from ocuk as friends.

I'll check a few of these things out tonight, but it's a new rig, so everything is pretty much a clean install. I do have a dual monitor setup.

If you join the OCUK clan and invite people from there I find there's usually a few people who join up, or just post up something here. But as said above annoyingly not a lot of people want to do set ups.
