What PC games are you playing?

Anno 2070
On the surface there seems a lot to like about this game. It looks great for a city builder. The best looking game of this genre I've played I think. There are a huge range of options, buildings, decisions. All the things you'd want from a real-time city builder. Yet somehow it doesn't grab me at all. The game feels rather more like work, a chore, than enjoyable. Perhaps it's the sheer volume of buildings, needs, resources, etc. But then I'm very much a fan of deep and complex strategy usually.

Perhaps it's just the wrong time, but five hours in and this isn't grabbing me at all. Maybe some fans of the game can swing it for me by pointing out what I should be doing/looking for/enjoying?

To be honest mate, it's not too different from Tropico 4. If you can get it on offer, go for it. If not, i wouldn't bother. there's a few additions & more buildings. The campaign is very simmilar to 4!

Now Tropico is city builder series I've loved for a long while. 2, 3 and 4 I spent a good 50 to 100 hours in each and enjoyed them all a great deal. The only reason I didn't get 5 was not because it was supposed to be too similar and only a minor upgrade from 4 but because I'd heard some people saying it had been overly simplified and stripped down and was now no longer such an interesting game. What are your thoughts on that?

Arkham Asylum, just completed after playing for the past three nights.

Was one of those games bought in some sale and just sat in my Steam library.

Really enjoyed it, a solid 8/10 :D

Path of exile. Annoyingly slow to load at start up but surprisingly enjoyable for a free game.

Witcher 3 (Thanks Nvidia :) )
Quite enjoying it. Not normally the kind of game I'd play but I'm really getting in to it.

Same here. These high fantasy rpg's are not normally my cup of tea tbh.....if it's got dwarves and magic in it I run a mile.

But I'm actually quite enjoying it so far.

I get a bit lost in the menus of upgrades and crafting stuff though !

Playing CS:GO and iRacing mainly, looking for new games MMO's racing, fps etc, not to fussed really i enjoy most things but never tried indies as they dont interest me too much most of the time :)

After buying Euro Truck Simulator 2 about 18 months ago I have finally got around to playing it and it's pretty nice so far. Very relaxing :D

Currently working on Why am I Dead game series

Working on solving first game in that Indie series, then plan to try the sequel. RPG, mystery, adventure, puzzle-type.

Just finished Far Cry 3 having not played it for months. Now I'm back onto Skyrim, GRID 2 and Trine 2. Also got to about 85% on GTA 5 but struggling to find much to do now.

After finishing Arkham Asylum, I'm now onto playing Arkham City. This game just flows and feels well made. Love using Cat Women too :D

That is the biggest strength of the Arkham games. Yeah, the combat is good, and a solid foundation, but there is a real feeling of quality running right through the game, from Voice acting, consistent graphics, animations etc. All contributes to a really high quality experience.
