Two PCs aren't recognising my phone ("USB device not recognised"), tried two different USB cables. Damaged micro USB port ? It's only a couple of months old.

Send it back to where you got it from, does sound like a bad micro USB port.

Directly from 3 (is it just Samsung that care about tripping KNOX ?).

EDIT - just checked 3's website, I have to send to Samsung. Thank God it's insured, as it's rooted should I just skip sending to Samsung? Or worth a shot.

EDIT 2 - oh dear, one of my home chargers won't work. Fortunately the Note 4 charger does, post haste!

Am getting nothing like that here....am lucky to get 24hrs on mine since the lollipop upgrade.

Am on the verge of saying rod it and then rooting and putting a plain rom on, but do not want to loose the s pen. Would also be good as can get rid of all the cack that I do not want or need on there.....why oh why Google Books do you try to keep updating when you are disabled......grrr

Does the S Pen activate the 'back' button below the screen on the Note 4? It doesn't on the Note 2 and it's a pain in the bum.

Not very impressed with lollipop on the whole. Aesthetically it's nicer but it's way more laggy than 4.4. Hopefully 5.1 fixes that.

I also have battery usage problems since upgrading OS. Phone is always awake. Google Now and voice are already turned off. I want to avoid a factory reset if possible. Any other ideas?

These won't protect your screen from shattering/cracking when dropped, but can help with any scratches/scuffs which might occur.

I'm currently using this one:

Seems to do the job, but I haven't tried many as I've been happy enough with this so far.
