AMD Fiji Die Reconstructed – 4 HBMs And A Huge GPU Uncovered

AMD Fiji Die Reconstructed – 4 HBMs And A Huge GPU Uncovered

Now the first thing you’ll notice is that there are 4 HBM stacks packed on the same interposer as Fiji. Just as AMD’s Joe Macri had implied a few days ago. Each HBM stack has a capacity of 1GB of memory, as far as we are aware stacks with more capacity are not available yet. The second thing you’ll notice is that Fiji is actually quite large. The largest GPU AMD has ever engineered in fact.

4GB it is then.

ROFL if it looks like this seriously.

~£750 for that ? NO way hhehehe :D

Why not? you dont pay for a GPU to look at the damn thing in a case all day long, you buy it for its performance, unless of course your Mal X and no one really understands what goes on in that fruitcakes noggin anyhow ;)

If it is actually that card, and thats the Ref model with a fan etc, then the AIB ones will be much prettier looking i would expect and if it lives up to the hype and comes at a reasonable price i will definitely be interested in probably 2 of them.

I am interested to hear about the VR card they are making though, which will be closed to the 295x2 i imagine, although i would prefer no AIO, i expect that card to have one.

Thats not the picture Johan Anderson Tweeted, thats actually an R7 250 Reference card.

The site had it in the banner, yes, but thats just misleading. it doesn't look like that.

Its a good looking little card tho :)

I think the air cooled version of the Fiji cards will be quite large as there will be a lot of heat to remove, hence a large cooler.

Yeah ^^^

You could actually have a dog turd with an AMD sticker, you'd still claim its a good looking card. Only if it had an AMD sticker...ofc.

Oh stop it.... anyone who doesn't join in your constant AMD bashing is a Fanboi, i have voiced plenty of AMD criticisms, even agreed with some of Nvidia's statements in defence of AMD's rhetoric, gone out of my way to persuade people to get an Nvidia card instead of AMD because that was the best thing for them.

So stop trolling.

Play the victim all you like Bug, know it's true.
Boom is already changing, all but confirmed he's going back to AMD. Gaining allies in camp red as I speak, expect more +1 and general gibberish from here on out.

The irony being, I'm currently using an AMD card, lol.

Who cares who goes where !!!

If you mix red and green you get brown which means I am up to my neck in the brown stuff.:D

I actually miss this fanboy crap, it's amusing. Need to start posting more in the graphics subsection. The cpu section might heat up soon as well.

People have allegiances to companies that would milk them for all they are worth?
