Student diversity officer in racism row could lose her job after allegedly tweeting 'kill all white

Or you could just move along and ignore the thread if you've not got any interest in it... it does mention 'Daily Fail' in the title and has a warning at the start of the OP:

***Warning this is a Daily Fail thread, if you don't like Daily Fail threads then rather than winging about it just move along and read another thread***

but instead you decided to go through my posting history and then make a comment anyway

Let's cut out the middleman and just comment on your comments on the originating site

Nope, you appear to want to comment on the poster, same as always.
It is sort of implying something negative about the poster in a sarcastic manner, without actually stating it.

Why is it so hard to just add your opinion, you must have one?

I'm posting about the poster's content not the poster. I thought this was clear.

And I thought this was pretty clear:

***Warning this is a Daily Fail thread, if you don't like Daily Fail threads then rather than winging about it just move along and read another thread***

but in answer to your question, I don't post on the Daily Mail website, I just read it as it is frequently amusing.... the comments section especially

But yes I also read other news sources... usually the BBC, Telegraph, Guardian, Bloomberg and The Economist... though it is only the first three of those that are likely to have anything amusing - the Daily Mail though by far is the best source... especially when they run stores like this:

"Kelly Brook's ex-Gladiator boyfriend pleads guilty to crashing van full of dead badgers into bus stop"

Very likely. You don't see many HR or diversity officers who are not white weirdly. Must be some white guilt stuff that draws them into it.

While Cameron is most certainly pro the 1%, so is every other party though that is neither here nor there, but he doesn't entirely ignore everyone else, literally publicly stating he won't represent them doesn't want them to talk to him, doesn't find their viewpoint valid and isn't actively racist nor sexist against them.

Validating stuff to her isn't relevant, she is irrelevant. However if there are hundreds/thousands of students of all races and genders see her say things like this AND be left alone, it's their views I care about. Likewise younger people reading about it in the news. If she receives a backlash all around she may or may not question her beliefs and may or may not change, but it sends a message to other people that her views aren't acceptable and she can't hold a position of representing the student body while holding those views. That is an important message to send.

Fair point.

It isn't even the definition in a number of dictionaries so it is just bizarre justification to act like a bad guy and absolve yourself from the guilt of being a bad guy. You'll only hear that definition when you are speaking to someone that lives in that echo chamber of infomation.

This reminds me of something when I was at the NHS.

The Equality and Diversity officer was a middle aged white women. She had a thing in her signature about Black History week. And the current topic was about Malala. LOL

Had me in stitches for the day. That caused an uproar.

They define racism and sexism as prejudice plus power. White men have power so nobody else can be racist or sexist.

I guess someone of Eastern European or Armenian descent could call her a dirty Turkish **** and claim they were just being prejudice not racist as not long ago her people held power over and/or massacred their people.

Problem is it is a definition that she and others are trying to promote... thankfully not something used in legislation or as described in dictionaries. Echo chamber is probably quite appropriate, she's done her gender studies course and I'm assuming the definition she is using isn't challenged much there but rather promoted.... Though she has gone too far and forgotten that the definition she is using still notes that you can be 'bigoted' towards white men. She also shot herself in the foot by using the term 'white trash' - along with 'chav' plenty of left wing campaigners/student activists absolutely hate the term given it is usually used to attack poor people.... thus she ended up apologising for it.

Turkey still officially denies the Armenian genocide, but given that Jewish holocaust denial is illegal in some countries you'd wonder why we even talk to them.

Oh wait, America sees them as a strategic asset so killing millions is now OK

People need to remember stuff like this because Cameron wants Turkey in the EU and it is all going to get swept under the carpet.

Uh, presentation tip : show, don't tell.

Also, don't tell if that's all you've got.

well they get indoctrinated into certain political stances on some courses - I mean she is a 'MA in gender and media studies' graduate, gender studies basically being a course in how men are evil oppressors dripping in privilege...

they essentially try to redefine 'racism' by narrowing it down to 'institutional racism' and then claiming that therefore it doesn't apply to white people because they're in a powerful position:

It is that sort of thing that makes her think her twitter posts are just controversial but absolutely fine - the kill white people is just an in joke, the event banning white people is fine... because privilege... the 'white trash' well that was just unprofessional and she's apologised (probably as other left wing people actually get upset over that term).

She's obviously never met Teresa May if she thinks women can't be sexist or racist due to having no political, economic and institutional powers.

What an utter hypocrite :(.
