Witcher 3

I did too. Just do the main quest for a bit. I did a few quests for a witch. The one to do with the tower of mice. Won't say anymore as it'll give it away. Now I'm level 7 some of the Velen quests are a bit easier!

Velen is such a strange mixture of levels, I'm level 14 now and still get absolutely dumpstered by random level 18 wyverns etc.

So far, this is heading towards being one of my favourite games of all time. I've put about 16 hours in and it feels like I've barely scraped the surface. It looks amazing, the story is incredible, the side quests have substance, the combat is difficult but rewarding. Everything about it is incredible.

Simple moments like this are amazing me, I'm just riding up to a new place and I'm greet with this sunset, I love this game! https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/ScarySquirrelUK/video/2476519

Oh also, it seemed like I was level 4 for ages but in about 4-5 hours today I went to level 7 just advancing the main quest a bit, which helped.

Also, when you're in the Putrid Grove place, there's a merchant that sells a +100 saddlebag, which means you can carry a load more stuff. It costs over 900 coin but it's worth it!

Also this, cutting some guys head off whilst on horseback, and then basically jousting with someone and cutting their arm off: https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/ScarySquirrelUK/video/2476520

Where abouts is this witch don't think I've ran into her yet ?

Yeah it is a random bunch of levels , just run into high level bandits everywhere , and the amount of wild dogs that there is as well !

Loving the game though makes me want to explore and find every question mark on the map :)

When your health is low, what is the point in using consumables (bread, water, swallow etc..) for regaining your health, when you can just meditate?

Is there a downside to meditating?

The main quest you need to pursue is..

Nilfgaardian Connection.

An offshoot quest of that main quest is called..

Hunting a witch.

Which once you do opens up more quests. :D really enjoyed them!

Are any of you guys getting lost in the game? I'm trying to find the witches in a bog but when I select quest no marker comes up, is this normal?

Literally just doing that quest now. My marker came up and found it no problems. Try saving, quitting and reloading?

I've tried that a few times mate no luck. I must admit I haven't been following the story quests in order I've sort of stopped done a side quest then went back.

Can you give me a clue where the nearest village is to the bog?

Cheers.

I believe it's around here, I think! (crudely marked this map with a photo editing app on my phone as I'm not at my ps4 or a pc :p)

Just ordered the Prima hard back guide from Amazon as its only £13.59, temporarily out of stock though so may be a little wait,

I ordered this yesterday from them, jumped from £13 to £16 then £19 and finally back down to £13 in the space of a few hours. Good price if they get back in stock soon, too much of a delay and it wont be worth waiting.

I really am loving this game. The characters, the dialogue, the scale, the detail, it's just absolutely fantastic.
