Depends on your case, assuming they're on a 120mm rad a 750d can easily accommodate 4 of these. Would look a bit mad but it has more than enough mounts to do it.

Be interested to see if they have a better iteration of clock boost, nvidia's implementation is far more interesting, all amd's does is start turning down clocks due to heat :(

But consider that it's also possible that this person would have an AIO CPU cooler too. If they're getting 4 390/390X they may well have a beefy enough CPU to have gone with a 240mm rad on the CPU.
So you'd need 6 120mm fan mounts. Since radiators are rarely 120mm x 120mm you'd probably couldn't fit them all next to each other either. So you'd probably need more than 6.

750d has enough space for 8 120 rads if need be. 2 at the front, 2 at the bottom, 1 at the rear and 3 at the top. Plus a few of these are 120/140 drilled so enough space. Would look like an octopus was invading your system but doable. :p

I have a phanteks enthoo primo, pretty sure I could easily slot 4 in but no way in hell would I.

I have an antec kuhler 950 currently and I hate it, the constant pump noise is annoying and it's a replacement from antec for an earlier model that the hoses leaked on. So there is also the worry of that happening as well, especially with 4.

I intend at some point to replace it but being fairly lazy I won't do it until I need to take the case side off to replace the gpu, so will do both at the same time and probably fit a Cryorig of Phantek air cooler.

AIO are largely fine but my personal experiences have been fairly mixed so personally I don't trust them long term and believe air is somewhat more reliable in the long term.

If they make an air cooled version and it lives up to what I hope it will be I can see myself buying 2 of them

I wonder what length the pipe will be on the AIO? I mean there are some big cases out there so you would hope it will be long enough to fit in places other that the rear exhaust.

Even for a small/medium sized case like mine I would only be able to top mount it otherwise the CPU heat sink would block it.

you cant have that setup it'll look daft, the CPU doesn't need Water and Crossfire only needs to be a single 240mm very thick rad

It's got me baffled (as a mechanic) Why these AIO coolers scare people so much. If you need to expand one then just bloody cut the tube, plumb in and top up. It's not rocket science. Consider multiple pumps a redundancy feature.

That's got go down a treat with your warranty.

Most warranties aren't worth a pinch of poop in this industry and if it works out of the box and you have had it in you system for a number of months and you are fearful of losing a $130 purchase quite frankly you are doing it wrong and are not an "enthusiast". At the end of the day water cooling is what it is. Plumbing is as good as the plumber and if you do it right it will work fine.

Look at the current offerings from Fractal design where you can add and customise their stuff. Same principle.

I'll be very surprised if the 390X comes out at a $130 launch price.

yes exactly well said

In theory the 390X should destroy the 900 series cards if they need AIO coolers.
The 900 series seemed to be as much about efficiency as performance gain. The 390X doesn't seem to have gone this route at all.

So I'm expecting big performance gains. Double figure percentages. If that figure doesn't start with at least a 2 I'm going to be a bit disappointed!

Maybe im hoping for too much but im gonna be dissappointed if the performance gain on the top tier flagship isnt atleast 35% of a 980. Preferably 5-10% faster than Titan X in 4k results. I can live with a bit less in 1080p. But time will tell and i will most likely not get what i want :)
