We never got to give it a go the other night (my fault I was all destiny'd out after playing all night) so just send me an inv when I'm on and we'll get it smashed. Its not that bad until the end fight. Void burn one can be a pain if not done right though.

We blasted through the Void part as I just used invisible Hunter but we just didn't have the DPS for the boss section with our weapons.

I have 3x maxed Ghallys though so I'm all good on that front! lol

If only I could exchange them for something else.... :cool:

I'll just be doing Crucible mostly and Trials but yes I'd like to give it a quick run with a setup that will surely work
 
Let me know when you guys want to run as I am available - I know we are running ToO at 7:30 tonight.

I want to give it a few goes using the "proper" mechanic but if that isn't going anyway I am more than happy just to nuke him from the doorway.. Maybe we could do you a quick 32 followed by the 34?

EDIT: Hopefully Xur is selling the helm engram again as I didn't manage to get the new Hunter helm last week (tried enough times).

I think Fallen_God said he'd be a bit later tonight if that's OK? (I'm sure I read that r he said that somewhere...can't recall)

Can run some other stuff beforehand if you want.
I'm doing 6am-5pm today for some daft reason (hours are 8am-1pm on fridays...) but I'll clear up some of the daily stuff and equipment management on my 2 hour breakfast/lunch.

so that way I'll be ready to go any time after work.

And yeah I'd be happy to run it the legit way at first - at least we know we can do it the cheesy way if it's not working

I'll be on tonight about 7 running with Pearson's second character through the NF if anybody needs to do it just give me a shout.

I also have the Gorgon HM checkpoint if people want the sweet loot (or shards).

Later is not a problem for me. I can run til late tonight anyway as no work tomorrow.

Go give Qodron a go with 2x33s and no 365 legendaries. It's probably do-able with a lot of patience but it's not fun. I'm sure the fight is pretty good when you're 34! I wouldn't know because a poxy random number generator has decided I have to play in gimped mode.

Its really not.

I can't get out of the bubbles with a full clip of 365 fatebringer at rank 34.

They've just given the bubble too much health. As a result only very specific strategies work to get out of the bubble in a timely fashion ,e.g. super good advice.

The strategy side of it is good, one person on adds (shotgun), one on boss DPS (rocket/sniper), one on shield duty with SGA/shotgun. Bit gutted I won't get a chance to do it on 34 this week, but it seems likely it'll be the 32 next week, be good to try it again.

I'm assuming the 34 will be Cabal....so a straightforward gjallahorn melt job.
 
You need a shotgun to breakout out of it nice and quick I found the other night when stuck there for a couple of hours. A full auto fast fire rate one worked well. You really need one of the fireteam to get that jail breaker buff though, they went down super quick when I had it on.

If you lack gally's and a titan bubble then set someone to find that goblin all the time, one on the enemies, and one damaging the boss with ice breaker or something. It will take a long time but you'll get it done. The hobgoblins were right pains without a bubble with blessing of light.

Yeah, that would work. I found he usually came at you with the other goblins. He doesn't play walkabout like a the sword bearer does thankfully! :)

Fatebringer wouldnt get you out of an VoG bubble either without a reload. Its never been a good gun for that. Use Shotguns or Ice Breaker for that...

Have to agree here, the bubble health is fine. Having any less health would remove any kind of urgency to get the goblin buff but its still not strong enough to withstand a pummelling from special/heavy weapon fire.

Handcannons have always been **** at anything other than killing trash in PvE, their base dps has never been good.
