Exhaust Noise

Just don't be a idiot. That includes making a load of noise in silly places, at silly times or generally being a bell.

You will find a majority of the time anyone who knows enough about bikes to recognise an after market/baffle free can generally likes bikes/cars and won't care. Those that don't care about cars/bikes wont recognise the fact your exhaust is a little fruity.

Had my baffle out for ages and went with Sin's approach of avoiding being an idiot.

I just put it back in for a bit of a change as the bike pops/feels different. And change is good.

Two of us went for a ride to betws y coed a month or so ago. Me on my 1098s, full Termi system no baffles and small number plate. My mate on his GSXR 1000, full Yoshi system. We decided to stop at the cafe on the top of the Horseshoe pass, needless to say, the ride up the pass was very "spirited" lol with a lot of heavy braking to slow down and turn into the cafe. When we turned in there were 5 police bikes parked up with all the plod watching us as we parked up. The came over and we spent about 10mins chatting to them before going to get some breakfast. No mention of exhausts or number plates lol. Either we were very lucky or they just couldn't be bothered. We did wait for them to leave before us though and made shure we went the opposite way lol.

Most of the time I leave the baffle in, as the bike seems to have better bottom end power(maybe its the higher back pressure helping there).
it does knock a little off at high revs(7-10k) but im not up there a lot anyway
