This AMD Roy dude comes across like he's full of ****.

Still sat on the fence here on which direction to take.

Oh he totally is!

I remember asking when Crossfire would Support windowed mode, and he said Mantle does. Nothing of worth to me uses Mantle, and it doesn't answer the question.

Plus he was the one last year helping Hype up a new AMD GPU, and to everyone's utter disappointment it was the Launch of existing FirePro cards in India..

What did you say to get blocked?

I took the mickey when Roy posted a tweet saying look at how good the APU was against all the others... But it was the wrong way round and it was one of those "lower is better" ones and he didn't realise the APU had the biggest line :D

Apollo was the 290X ^^

*RIP*

He was a good contender but didn't have enough..

13 Days..

Underdog VS Champ..

Okay those not doing compute on their gpu do not need more than 4gb of vram. Fact. So 4gb of memory isnt a problem.

However those saying yeah but 8gb cards will come! Yes they will when hynix make hbm2 stacks. Already stated hbm 2 allows for 8gb on gpu. Guess what will happen then? Pascal will launch. If i was a betting man nvidia are waiting for hbm 2 and thus 8gb to launch their hbm card.

So i think Amd could have done better with their launch plan given the competition. Im going to wait it out though and see what they have to offer and i will buy a fury x and switch my monitor if the price and performance is right. Sadly i think maybe 15% faster than a 980ti arat the same price and that probably isnt enough to make me want to buy a new monitor and swap from gsync. That is now a huge issue for consumers like me i am guessing because at 4k gsync is a must have and couldnt live without it.
