Ah yes, social cohesion, where you isolate a particular section (or sections, in this case) of society and pin the blame for everything on them.

As for keeping the public happy, you mean the keeping the relatively small proportion of the public (old, racist, or old and racist) who read the DM and the Express.

Some people are just annoying, this is a fast track to moving them back to their original countries where being annoying is positively encouraged by other people with beards.

Anyway I think you might just have missed the sarcasm in my reply.

Basically singling out sections of society and attempting to pin the blame on them goes against the ideas of social cohesion. Instead it increases and encourages social division.

And then to claim its being done in the name of keeping the public happy (a very small section of society I might add) then its even more ridiculous.

Its almost as if its being done as a distraction from the true causes behind the ever rising welfare budget.

Absolutely. Blaming foreigners, while to some extent there is money wasted there, seems silly when the biggest culprits are those baby producing factories much closer to home that do nothing but avoid the need to work by getting knocked up all the time. Even worse is that in most cases the kids learn from their example and just creates another generation of freeloaders.

I wish people would have more of an open mind and realise how bad this is. From personal experience.... This government is so bad when it comes to immigration. Here's my story.

I met my partner around 5 years ago. At the time he was studying and here on a student visa. We hit it off,and 2 years later we got married. My family and his family didn't attend our wedding, as they are not happy with us being gay.

My partner finished his course 2 years later and his student visa eventually expired. No problem.... We will get a spouse visa.

Wrong. These visas are now so hard to come by that they are only available to ones with very well paid jobs. The British citezen now has to be earning £18,600 a year (and additional amounts if you have children)

Now I'm not stupid, I consider myself decently educated but the job opportunities are just not available in the city I live. Still.... I have been working since age 21.... Never been on the dole and earn around 17k a year.

Still... That did not matter and he was being forced go back to India. We fought this as being in India is now illegal which he could be arrested for... And sent to jail. And his family had now completely reject him.

The worst thing I realised was, any European can walk into the UK with a none eu partner and live here straight away. Its the British government that have treated me WORSE.

It was thanks to the EU that we remained together and moved to Spain where we both work and have a lot more relaxing life. But I feel completely betrayed by my own government that I had to leave to the country to be with my partner.

I'm not the only one in this situation. I have talked to many people whos children have not seen one of their parents for years because the British citezen wasn't earning enough. Families split up for the sake of publishing numbers to please kippers.

I just think its a horrible situation to be in and something that's not reported on. It seems to be that the government is now mandating who you fall in love with unless your rich. I don't want to hear anything about 'being a burden on the state' as none if us have ever been. My partner could have got a decent well page job in the UK but that isn't counts towards the £18,600 threshold. It was mine... The British citezen that only counted. But still, I have never needed access to welfare and neither would have my partner. I'm pretty sure spousal visas don't allow you to public funds anyway.

Black and white thinking. Children should be taken into care to protect them, care can do a lot of damage to children and shouldn't be used lightly. Just because a parent maybe did a little shoplifting isn't reason for them to be placed into care...or deported.

I note you have assumed it would be the dad doing the crime(s)

Is your husband a doctor, a scientist or something equally high skilled? If not, I see no value in us letting him come here. If he is, then surely he can get in through another route?

Did you see the other week that some Slovakian bint came to this country, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy then decided she didn't want it. The baby got sent home to Slovakian care (judged to be in his best interests) whereas the Slovakian woman gets to stay here and continue enjoying her 'party lifestyle'. Seems the wrong way round to me.

I don't see any value in half the British people that live here but they do... Just because they was born on this piece of rock. I sincerely hope that none of your children are ever put in the same situation I was because they will either be married and never able to see them or you'll be seeing your child a lot less.

Saying that.... Does it still not matter that my husband would have gone back and been arrested for being who he was. Seriously it annoys me to hell that people like you just do not care as it does not benefit you.

If it was you daughter who would be arrested for being who they are and I said '**** it let them arrest her I don't see any benefit.... Kill her if you want' how would that make you feel?

"Just because they were born on this piece of rock" is quite a big deal you know - it means we can never force them to leave, or deny them entry to the country. I'm sorry to hear about your situation FWIW, I never liked the income rules for spousal visas, but it's a fact of life that people have been and are continuing to abuse them.

The people born here have a natural right to be here. Someone born in another country does not. If you choose to marry someone who has no right to be here, then that is your problem, not societies.

I would tell my children the same.

we're already going to pass germanys population in our life time if things continue as they are.

lack of housing and everything else will just get worse.

Germany already has rent caps in some cities we don't

Dont people understand that 'Rights' are proclaimed and could just as easily be ignored or given?

This attitude of rights being God given is the reason why people believe they are entitled to get as much as they can get away with. Scroungers are happy to take money because the government has given them the right to, just the same as the current foreign nationals.

Your post is the most ironical I've seen on these forums in quite some time. Your damn these 'chavs' and yet your post has consistently poor grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Now the odd thing here and there, in a post, I can understand. English is not my first language and this is the internet afterall and therefore perfection is hardly required. But that nonsence you've posted there is indicative of one of two things: either you are stupid or you are lazy. In either case I don't think you should be criticising other people whilst demonstrating the same things you berate.
