I got my first RDA a Plume veil clone today and it's another step up in flavour from my Subtank mini. I wouldn't want to use any nicotine in it though. Just ordered some kanthal and Japanese cotton so get to try building some coils next week :)

the plume is the best RDA I've ever used, flavour, clouds, it has it all!

Just seen a very old video of RIPs.... He was 'normal'... Gonna give up vaping as it sends people looney.. Lol

I've just swapped my first subtank ni200 coil... It was BLACK, it's been in the tank for months but the issue I have is that I never exclusively vape on the same tank or setup, and sometimes it can sit there for weeks without being used but it had a fair few tanks in it. The issue I had was the temperature control was kicking in straight away and I was getting poor vapour production on the Evic vt, swapping it out and it seems ok now.

It also seems that the cotton is 'glued' in on the coils, so there's no pulling it out and re-wicking; well at least on the one I've just pulled apart. :)

I'm loving the ruthless range of flavours.
Nothing else compares for me.
I'm using the smok bt50 with aspire clearmomizer.
Any good fruit or sweet flavours ?

So far like. E z duz it, slurricane, grape thang.... Any recommendations. .?

Use a sub tank nano as a spare tank.

Cheers. Al

Rise is lovely. I picked up 120ml of that earlier this year from Evolution Vaping.

Seems to taste quite minty to me though at high wattage.

Fasttech now have the Youde Zephyrus listed for £16 - I've picked one up!

Just a heads up that cloud9vaping have just taken stock of silicon skins for the SXmini M.

I can imagine the paint would still peal from behind the skin but it'll hide the issue and help protect the mod from small knocks.

I posted here a few months ago saying I was going to give up the cigarettes and get on vaping and I am pleased to say I am still off them! :)

My question is now about equipment. I am using a variable voltage 1300mAh "spinner" battery with a Aspire CE5-BDC tank which is serving me well. I get a good throat hit from it, nice taste and the coils seem to last a good while before tasting a bit burnt out or getting a flavour/strength reduction.

Considering the above is working for me, is there still a benefit with going for some of the more expensive kit?

Thanks

First off congrats for staying off the stinkies!

If you're happy with what equipment you have then by all means stick to it mate, only thing I could recommend is perhaps buying a rebuildable atomiser (RTA) and having a go at that.

If you want to stick with the pre-built jobbies then I'm sure we can all recommend you something along those lines.

It may seem like a big purchase at the start buying everything (charger, wire, cotton, coil jig etc.) but it'll save you some money in the long run imo.

Hit me up if you need any recommendations my dude!

If its working for you, there's no point in spending more cash.. :)

It's funny how we can stuck on the same cigs day in and day out for years, but now, I can't vape on the same juice all day. You can spend 100s and 1000s per month looking for the perfect setup and the more expensive stuff can be no better even worst than the cheap setups.

If it's working and stopping you from smoking; save your cash. :) don't be silly like me.

Thanks both.

I think what I would rather do is stick with the prebuilt stuff as it is working well so far :)

In regards to tanks & liquid- all I look for is reliability, good taste and a good hit so what would you recommend? Just so I know other options as I have just been getting the same tank, same replacement coils, and liquid from the same place.

And slinxy - I have found that as well!!! I need to switch between two different liquids during the day.

If its working for you then keep with it, If you start thinking its not doing the job then start getting more shiny things, but once you start buying shiny things you cant stop

Thanks. You all have pretty much clarified it for me as. I'm glad you advised that as I can see from reading through this thread, its very easy to spend massive money on kit lol

The Hangsen/Dekang juice that Fasttech (example) sell is pretty good starting juice, I used that for a while when I first started vaping.

If you wanna spend a little more, look at Generals Juice (GJ10 for 10% off) or NovaVapes (REDDIT10 for 10% off).

I've tried every juice that GJ offer bar the tobacco ones and they're all great.

Hope this helps!

Get the same tank if it's working, you won't need to get different coils.

As for options, aspire nautilus mini is a very popular good tank and the silo (non beast) is a suped up version of it, but both would look silly on a spinner.

I've spent £170 pounds on the most sort after bottom feed atty a few weeks back, it works bloody great but I brought a £17 pounds NV atty a few days later, as its smaller and would fit in a setup I have. Factory made, hand adjusted coils, no adjustable airflow, basically EVERY thing that I would look my noise down at.. And I actually prefer the vape from it. Lol

I'm gonna get another I think just as I have a few micro setups, and it's the best 14mm atty I have and I think I'm gonna bin the rest. Lol

Just got back from my first vape meet, its made me realise how cheap all my vape stuff is!

Was a good day though, 12 turned up not bad for a local derby meet

Has it finished already? you light weight! lol (I know your on a short lead ;) )
I'll come next time... not been out in Derby in a good few years.

They are still there. I hadn't eaten so decided to go grab a kebab and come home

It was good though you should come to the next one. Some lovely gear there. Some real enthusiast's will even put your stuff to shame

lol... yeah, I'm looking at some photos of the north east meet.. they all have c-frames..

I'm going to bring an ego and ce4+ when I come, I can't be trusted when I'm drunk. :D

Did you bring your manbag? I'm going to bring mine. lol

I did indeed it goes everywhere with me.

One lad dropped his mod and smashed his tank so maybe its best haha

I took my sigelei istick and 2smpl mods couldn't decide. Craig who put the meet together took everything you could think of including fresh battery wraps and isopropyl wipes and a bag full of mods. Think the next meet is August because of vapefest next month
