Lifts have come on well there since we last spoke, glad to see you've found a passion.

(Not to rain on your parade or discredit your dedication, not that it does at all, but I don't think it's right to mislead some of the more naive users here)

Thanks benny I'm very open about it as you know just didn't know if that sort of talk was allowed here

About to embark on a bit more supplementation looking forward to another journey

No details allowed but nothing wrong with saying you use, if you're on FB then anything goes in the group and it's always quite interesting to see what people are using.

Ah, that does make a bit more sense. Its still an amazing effort no matter what.

Also, theres a facebook group?

Can I formerly chubby, just starting lifting weakling get in on the action?

Who said there was any requirement to actually lift? You might be disappointed if you think the FB group is about lifting... :D ;)

Has anyone here ever suffered from a shoulder dislocation? I dislocated my left shoulder 26 days ago and am still really struggling to get my deltoids to activate - how long did it take for feeling and senation to return and how long before nerves to start firing the muscles again?

Struggling to front and laterally raise much more than 3kg at the moment!

Delts are now firing again, doing an awful lot of functional rehab work on the shoulder and progressing well now, main movements are -

1 arm medicine ball slams
Medicine ball shot putting
Hand over hand weighted sled pulls
Front and lateral dumbbell raises
Internal and External shoulder rotations on cable machine
1 arm straight arm pull down on cable machine

I think I'll start doing some dumbbell overhead pressing soon too as opposed to barbell, so that the weight stabilised by just the one shoulder.

I dislocated my left shoulder again on Monday night

Ouch - sorry to hear it. :(

How did you do that?

I was playing netball

I was playing GS, our GA took a shot but missed, I jumped to get the rebound but the ball was slightly behind me, just threw my arm up and backwards and it popped out again  Another trip to A&E, more morphine and a dose of general anesthetic and here I am, back to where I was at the beginning of March. Got an appointment booked with the specialist on Monday, hoping it can be investigated further this time with an MRI and possible surgery to stop it happening.

There's a lesson to be learnt here about playing netball :p

It is massively frustrating though, even more so if you have an MRI and they still say everything looks fine because 50% of the time the only way to actually see the problem is to open you up.
