Family had a place with a 3/4 acre garden surrounding it. Which came with three large brick bays for compost heaps.

Don't think they will take garden waste here either (or atleast my local council has a policy about it) has to go to the tip here.

Brother in law is taking the mick a bit but as a one off I wouldn't get wound up about it.

Because they measure it by 1 full bin per house, so if people over fill, they have less room in the truck and therefor can't empty everyone's bin...

He's 'bin' evaluating the responses and the poll, maybe he twigged that he went a tad overboard by branching off making a rubbish post instead of just saying to his brother-in-law 'the bins a tad full old boy, leave me a bit of room if you use it again'.
