You should jump back on and join the party chat, getting to level 34 is a couple of prison of elders runs. Armour core for the 32, use that to buy whatever Variks is selling. Upgrade an exotic piece, then you're level 33. Then run the 34 prison and so on.

You've got multiple charcters as well, so getting etheric light from the 34 version won't be hard. Just transfer them to make one character level 34.

I guess I can't face the grind of doing everything with 3 characters and I do actually fear getting addicted to the game again, it was all I thought about several months ago. Crazy.
I do want to try PoE but I guess it depends if you guys want to take me through a run on the lower level.

We'll def run you through it no problem. There's always a couple of the group who need to do runs and they don't take too long.

It really is that easy! Even levelling your weapons and armour is easier now as they got rid of all the damage and defense upgrades. Don't need a lot of materials or money either. Much better and less complicated system.

Did two runs tonight, both went very well. Got to hand it to Bungie with the changes they've made to it, although quite small, the fight is a lot better! Really enjoyable I thought.

We just did loops around the arena, clearing enemies up, if got too hectic we just moved to a new position and repeated, damaging Skolas once all the ads were dead. When the mines came up we just stuck together. Coordinate the tainted light thing and you should have no problems!
 
Anyone on xbox one having problems getting on this morning?? Signs in ok but when I choose my character I get am error, permissions to access multiplayer gameplay may have changed or your profile may have been signed in else were.
Settings all look ok and I've changed my pass to be safe, but looking on google it looks quite a common error although I've not seen this before.

I tried it with a LFG group. We did pretty well once we got a rhythm going, had him down to his last bits of health cleared the mines. And then forgot to clear the adds...

Overall I like the new setup feels much more like its down to skill rather than getting a luck break. The group needs good comms to manage the taint.
 
Nope, gotta pay for it. 39 USD. Some people are a bit hacked off that the complete collector's edition pack includes some stuff that you can't get by just buying the DLC though.
 
No. Taken King is going to be around £35-40. Those who already own the game + expansions will have the opportunity to get the VIP "year 1" pack which includes some unique cosmetic items.

Annoyingly other items are unique to the new collectors edition which means if you want those as well you have to essentially buy the game again..
