I'm now a week into vaping and away from cigarettes.

This very quickly going to become an expensive hobby/habit.

Just ordered a velocity RDA from the same eBay seller.

How long did yours take to arrive?

Be careful chap... No RDA is really designed for newbies and the velocity gives the user a lot of space to play with. Just don't build super low straight away. :)

Ice is known for being a nutter lol

Edit: anyone seen those? https://m.fasttech.com/products/1/10004182/2533800-authentic-lg-18650hg2-3-6v-3000mah-rechargeable
20amp 3000mah!! Should be perfectly fine for a DNA40, in a dual parallel setup that would be 6000mah

I'll be cautious, it won't be the first time using an RDA and I can't build super low the Kanger Kbox only fires down to 0.5ohm

I'm questioning the insulator though, I thought PEEK was supposed to be an off-white colour? This looks white to me?

Technically any colour you like ;)

I use the black, no difference just the colour.

The updated RBA for the subtank mini arrived today. So far it's not much better than the original for 80/20 juice, a few draws then it starts sizzling and gives dry hits. Pretty sure i packed the cotton in there too tightly though so going to have to mess around a bit.

Edit - I think i've got it now. I had just followed Kanger's own video on rewicking the new RBA but it resulted in it all being packed too tight. This time i still followed it the same but peeled off the outside parts of the cotton, the brushed sides bits, so it was just the fluffy stuff left and also loser inside the actual coil and so far so good. Have it going at 30W on 0.5Ω and so far no dry hits even chaining it, still hearing a bit off sizzling after each pull but that's all. On the old RBA i was getting dry hits after every 2 or 3 pulls even at 22W with thick juice.

At one point before this wick i forgot to put the cap on the RBA before i put everything together and ended up with half a tank of juice pouring out of the air hole lol.

Now i just need to decide on a new mod as the MVP3 only goes up to 30W.

I'm quit intrigued by the New 75w Sig, I want a snow wolf but at half the price I'm asking my self if I will ever use the extra wattage and how much I'll miss the extra cell.

Also loving what I am hearing about the velocity, I was contemplating a marquis as the plume while being great is a leaky little thing but the velocity is so interesting and looks super easy to pack decent exotic builds in to.

So my plans are a temp box, velocity rda and zephyrus, and the ingredients to mix a big batch of custard and another fresh fruity flavor. Still need a suggestion on the fruity flavor though if any one has any.

The marquis is a pain in the butt to build for, esp the clone.
The drippers that I mainly use are the derringer, haze mini and tobh.

I'm getting an Origen in the next few days along with the velocity and I'm on the look out for a hobo v3. :)

So what your saying is you drip :D

I'm looking for flavor mostly, and not getting covered in juice, on the plume with a duel coil which is all I ever use I get 4 good draws before I need to re drip. I have no idea how people get 10+ draws on a single dripping. I did tell my local store owner his dripper tasted dry and needed 're dripped but when he tasted it he said it was fine so maybe I just am a little sensitive to that taste. So a deep well I can fill is a must, that complicates the leaking issue!

lol.. I've got my tech writter hat on at work at the moment, rewritting the IT side of our new intranet, so I've not got much time to carefully post stuff.

I think a lot of the 10 drags before redripping is from the old days before sub ohm took off. I can get 2-3 good drags from my drippers before I start getting scratchly hits.

Glad to know I'm not odd then. Even when I had a genny at 0.9ohm when that was considered on the edge of acceptable I never hit 60ml in a week which I managed on my first week on holiday.

So what are the best suggested battery for .5 ohm and below these days, I have some 18650 but I'm going to have to dispose of them as they are not fit for these types of use. The old sennybor served me well but are aging.

And for some reason I am still drawn to the goblin mini!

The Samsung INR18650-25R are the ones that most people are going for...

I got some vape mail today, 2 sub tank minis rbas, a needle noise bottle (god knows why) and a special battery from tounchy.. he's got some 18350s that can do 20amp continuously, I've offered to test it for him... but with it being an 18350 I'm staying about 1ohm. I've forgotten how hard it was to build that high on a RDA, but I've got a single coil 5/6 wrap 28AWG sitting in a tugboat on a mech at the moment. lol

It ain't half bad... lol a lot cooler than I'm used it but flava and clouds bro... clouds... lol

Strange, I'm vaping 80/20 VG at the moment on the RBA and I've not had any sizzling or dry hits. Thats with a 7 wrap 22 gauge that comes out at 0.4Ohm
