Mesirecorde is the admin I guess, he's playing on there now. Avoid Russian servers like the plague...and a few UK ones (*cough*).

Mat in Russian means 'mother'. Maybe he's just salty.:D
 
Time time i got banned was when i rammed a vehicle that was stolen from fanatic. We both tryed to ram him into water. The guy turned out to be admin from a french server :D

Oh and them inf only maps we played some days ago was fun :)

Grrr AN2........

Pretty much every match I will be removed from the OcUK squad and punted off to the opposing team.

Getting really tired of it now. Even when I am performing reasonably well in comparison to the other OcuK players on the server (Except kiwi and Hazard obviously! :p), I still get punted.

Shame cos the server seems to run fairly well. Was even considering putting in a VIP donation thing. But meh. Not while they have such retarded team balancing.

Wouldn't be hard to add a "leave squads the **** alone" loop in the balancing algorithm. lol. Guess they don't want to :)

As such, I'm not gonna be playing in AN2 any more. Pretty ****ed up that as a newer player who needs the help and direction of my squad to help me improve I keep getting punted to play on my todd. Yah, great way to help newer players improve. lol.

Are there situations when you are the 5th member to join and still get moved?

this is how it works
After 6 or more from the same clan are on one team it will start moving the last Clan member who joins that team to the opposite side. it used to be 8 but other clans wrecking this system.

it will also try to keep squad together,except for the scoreboard scramble which can have the possibility of moving anyone including Admins.

For example
Squad 1
Hazard
Fairfight
KIwi
X
X

Y joins same team > he will be moved the opposite team.
Y will then have 60 Minute timeout before being moved again Unless its scoreboard scramble

the reason hazard/Fairfight/Kiwi
rarely get scrambled is because their first:
OCUK players normally to join the server & the squad
Top 40% of the scoreboard cannot be moved unless scoreboard scramble
other than above they have same chance of getting moved as anyone else. that's inside a squad.

Doesn't how you join games affect whether you get split or not?

I remember joining a game by clicking on an ocuk member in my battlelog friends list and it booted someone from the squad.

Also when it's not possible to join a friend and I'm on the opposite team in the team the team setup menu or whatever it is called attempts to rebalance me when a slot is made available.

Don't really know. Possibly. The main time I manage to stay in the squad is usually for the first match of the day. If I join on you guys part way through a map it usually lets me stay. But then the very next map, even only 3-4 mins into the game when all of our scores are fairly equal I will get punted.

Or, as you have said it will be a scramble.


I play BF4 to be able to play with you guys in a squad, not to keep being punted off the squad to satisfy a balancing algorithm.

Amen brother Nexus.

We know what their servers are like, people know what to expect if they play there. Smogsy has stated the balance and rules stuff. It won't change.

We don't play on it all the time, it's just that Nighty is normally on first and is on a mission to be #1 rank on that server.
 
When I'm on my own I don't get balanced :D.

I don't mind the server yet it's rare I ever get balanced. I do know the rage inducing moment from other servers where you've spent the first minute of lockers posistioning the team for a win only to get balanced after capping C :(. So if it happened to me more I'd hate it as well.

you would be wrong :p
the techincal forumla for balance is sound, however from feedback from ocuk & others i've reduced the speed it works at = less moved player per round = less chance to be moved.

you got find a balance of fun for all + balance its a hard one :)
