No idea what drove him to it above the obvious. Looking at the bomber jacket he is wearing (posted earlier) he his supremacist issues - Rhodesia and South Africa before they were integrated.

I'm sure over the coming days the press will be full of Facebook and Twitter posts that he made before the incident.

LOL, you are so naive. Have you ever heard of "Sovereign Citizens"? They're basically white nationalist nutters that genuinely think all laws are unenforceable and they have on many occassions had 'stand off' with police yet they never seem to get shot.

You set a dangerous precedent, for you normal arguments, with that post. You are trying to make one point but all your are doing is confirming what people have been saying for some time in other threads.

I came to the same conclusion on seeing this headline in the same way I come to the same conclusions when assuming who has been behind other such massacres.

If this person was found to be associated and active in supremacist movements I would hope that the US government clamp down on them even more than they do now. If he is just a rogue loose cannon with similar ideological beliefs then it would do no harm to clamp down on them anyway.

Now I've said my usual thing - I guess you now need to call me a racist right?

If the Government won't ban guns following countless children being massacred in school shootings, they will hardly ban them for a few people in a church being killed.

Myself and my close group of best friends had a White South-African friend for a little while, he moved here with his dad who was working with one of my friends parents. We all thought he was ok, a bit off the wall but ok until his real views started to come to the fore, he was shunned from the whole group, an utter racist scum-bag.
