What is this world coming to!!

Maybe it happens because the world is so misunderstanding of people with mental health problems. This thread being a classic example where they get labelled crazies and mental. Do the people go into other threads and moan about "spastics", etc. I suspect they don't - so people need to gain some empathy and part of that is raising a little awareness of issues that will likely directly have an impact on our life at some point whether than be from ourselves or those close to us.

The surprising thing actually is how Un-violent the world is (at least in the more developed parts)

The process that has allowed an aggressive predatory primate to evolve over little more than a couple of thousand years be able to live relatively peacefully in vast high population density cities is actually quite impressive (Though the process is on going and some gene-lines seem to do better than others)

Even in the most orderly societies this sort of thing still happens however (China/Japan say) but it is easy to forget just how rare this sort of event actually is even in the less orderly ones
